Too anyone that wants to exchange pupils and level up their brute faster, you can post your brute below and i will make you a pupil if you make me one.
i don't understand why you are afraid of talent trees...
when blizzard created WoW they used ideas from D2 and no one had a problem with that, so its only inevitable that it will happen again, and there's nothing wrong with that. Have faith that blizzard will use the best system that they can think of. And if that happens to be talent trees big deal, they have some positives as well as negatives.
All in all if you want D3 to be D2, then go play D2...
Personally i think talents are better then skills. This way you wont just see WW barbs, orb sorcs, javazons, trapsins, etc. There will be a wider range of builds that a player can create, in doing so strategy becomes increasing important, also you wont have to buy a new mouse every month cause you were right-clicking like a madman (yes i know its a hack n' slash game). This feature will also allow for more replayability, as you can create a character unlike one you had before.
what if at the end of the game all classes unlock their powers? then in the expansion/d4 (if they make one) they can make heaven/hell factions and you decide who wins (like guildwars per say).
the 1:1 inventory system works with the loot system.
since you can only pick up items intended for you, no one else can get them. This means you should have enough room for the item, and no one else has the possibility to get "that item".
and you never know... there could be a weight limit.
You argued that if you cant picked it up someone else can, but this cant happen since you are the only one able to pick up items that you see on your screen.
the 1:1 system works with the individual loot system. it would be pointless not to have it, and not being able to pick up items intended for your character.
If you want to kill someone, you can hostile them however, if the person being hostile says "**** that garbage!" they can decide to not hostile back and neither of you can kill each other.
In other words both players have to agree to fight(dueling is fun!) and nobody can be massacred, this makes all games PvP and all games PK free.
rofl "this isnt cs"
kicking is apart of most games. I wish for once someone would post an intellegent argument instead of saying "thats just like *insert name of popular game(eg. wow/cs)*"
trust in the system of the kicking feature. and in regards with cs, people dont get kicked for being good, never once have i been kicked for being good (used to play cevo-m cal-m).
Thats not what they were thinking, If we're both thinking of the same quote they said they had a lot of fun with 4 people in a group and with 8 it seems a lot is going on but its still playable.
I know that your thinking about but its not the same... after they said that they mentioned how they could have 20+ players per game, but that completely ruins gameplay.
i would say the player limit will be no bigger then 8, they said the game will be beatable by yourself so there would be no need to have a huge game with players running around.
I like the double boss idea... that would just be an all out war and probably take a week just to beat both of them... eventually someone will find a way to block/kite one while the rest of the party kills the other, but still adds more strategy.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a computer.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to have electricity.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to have food and water.
Why cant you be fortunate enough to be happy you will be able to buy a game whether or not it suits every one of your individual needs?

I know theres a lot of speculation about who the demon from the cinematic is, but i feel like putting a new twist on this.
What if the demon is all the the brothers (Baal, Diablo, Meph) that would just be pure awesome! talk about an epic battle!

This would solve a lot of problems in d2.

or maybe something more serious like:
a trained disciple of Tyrael. who is a sword/axe wielder and has angelic skills that do significant damage but also harm the user.
