i remember that feeling. when i got Diablo II when it first came out. i think the first thing i got was IK Helm, on my single player Barb. man i about died i was so excited. it dropped and i was like, look, its not blue white grey or yellow. its fucking GREEN! what now, i have a green item, MUAHAHAHA.
ahhh...the good old times. its been a long time since i got a game i was really excited about. i cant wait for diablo 3 and my first set or unique item.
seriously i just ordered a friggin 4 gig ram with 500 gig hard drive and a 231 dollar video card so i can be sure ill be able to play it when it first comes out i am hoping to be one of the best, and i dont see why i wont be back when i played D2 i was high on ladder in top 5 then i wuit for a while and came back on LOD and first 2 things i found was Tyreals Might and some sort of Victor thing. and eventually another 97 levels later on my Hdin i found a total of 7 grand charms that had +1 to Zon skills along with Titans javvs or watever they are now but now that ive seen the D3 demo its hard to have fun playing D2
i think its fine graphics arent much of anything ofxcourse though we want it to not look like a friggin cartoon though 3d is much better and on page 1 that list is ridiculously long annnnnddddddd why would we want to have friggin 20 characters when well probably only be allowed to have like 10 gg pple be serious
Now Id like to explain where my initial thoughts about Tyrael being corrupted came from
its a movie http://www.diii.net/articles/668952/lore-amp-environmental-art-panel-video where Leonard Boyarski one of the lore designers (head i believe) is talking about Tyrael when he talks about the main storyline for D3
Ill quote him here:
At 11:50 Leonard says: "Tyrael is an angel who has been helping mankind trough the previous games against the wishes of heaven"
"At the end of diablo 2 he was forced to destroy the world stone and (important) this was the last time anyone saw him, what has he been doing all this time, no one has talked to him no one has heard from him"
He contiues: "has he been punished, He stood RIGHT in front of this very powerfull artefact when it exploded. Sure hes an angel butt would that change him in any way what happend to him as a result of this.. so no one knows it has been twenty years and no one has heard any thing from him, why hasnt hell invaded is a very important question, everyone expected hell to invade as soon as the world stone was destroyed
but no one has heard anything from hell"
"these are questions we are going to be looking into further "
This to me.. really suggests that something happend to him at the world stone.. and the punished part also hints to this.. Also he emphazises on the fact we havent heard from him in 20 years and this is a mayor question to everybody.. then he says we will be looking at these questions

also true but u have to think though maybe the blue ones are being absorbed inside of him and his true evil is beginning to show with the flames? u never know
very true zombie that may be it but still why would his tendrils change from white to bluish red and then to a form of reddish white(i think its red but i have my doubts)
very nice long post but u spelled sword with word lol true but then again alot of people belive there are six acts and maybe u fight Tyreal there and u accidentally knock the shard out of him turning him into good Tyreal again?

Does anyone else find it odd they included two demons AND a angel in the grahic...
Usually they would of put a demon on one side and a angel on the other but they're all together.
Maybe the angel is Tyrael... Maybe he is part of the being known as Hydra in some way.
it looks as if Tyreal is on Diablos right hand side and the demon is on his left in other words im trying to say Tyreal is maybe teaming up with Diablo after going all evil and stuff and 1st off become Diablos right hand man until he becomes more pwerful than Diablo therefore making him the final boss and therefore above diablo. or it is the bigenning of a war between heaven and hell (the pic on blizz.com says heaven and hell shall tremble pretty much right? so maybe they warring and Tyreal is good but the producer pplz are trying to get us all spiked up nd stuff and get us thinking alot and im getting a headache.... so its working (and they say everypic is worth a thousand word) and i could go on but ive been typing too much on mypsace and my fingers hurt sooos... any commentz?
actually in all truth i belive Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Sorc, Rogue, and Paldain becuase first off until expansion pac Barbarians couldnt kill in hell unless he had nearly best stuff in game. so therefore hammerdins were relied on to rush us to hell diablo and then they were relied on to kill hell diablo along with the sorcs and zons and necs
any ideas of when its coming out? id really like to know so i can buy 1st day hehe i want best names and to be 1st to find out if Tyreal is evil (which he most likely is)

Okay look really closly in the picture where you see the Tyrael movie sequence.. do you see hes in a cathedral? also hes in a cathedral on the main D3 page like Gnub said.. now this doesnt prove that its Tyrael who is the meteor.. but its more and more likely that he is since the meteor clearly crashes in the cathedral as seen on pictures and Tyrael is there to.. acting bit strange as seen on pictures
Now it says this on the front page of D3:
"The comet carries a dark omen in its fiery being and it calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself."
So its Tyrael thats corrupted of he is the comet
Now this sentence is pretty important: "and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself." So read carefully: The comet is a omen TO : The failing luminaries of the high heavens itself.. how can it be an omen for that if its not a corrupted fallen angel? or somethign of the sort!
