Greetings all. I am relatively new to forums, but this one I have decided to join as I am very excited to hear of the development of Diablo 3.
What am I supposed to write in an introductory post? Let's see...
I have mostly played single player in the past, with very little battlenet gaming. I feel as though I got in late on the online thing, but I hope to get into this one on the ground floor.
In Diablo 2 I favored playing a barbarian (whose name I take in this forum), a druid, and an assassin as a lark. Beat game on normal difficulty with all three, got far into nightmare with them as well, but real life became hectic and gaming is usually the first leisure activity of mine to get the axe.
I'm excited about this one. I see the witch doctor as a necromancer retread (sorry, Blizzard), but still a cool take on the poison/summoning character. Nice touch on being able to have either a male or female of any of the classes. The combat looks amazing. The fight against that siege monster is intense. My eyes popped when the barbarian got his head bitten off. Nice to see Cain again.
Crap, what else can I say? I am looking forward to having some good times with this game, and I will likely be getting a system tailored so I can play it, as I'm not sure my laptop would hold up to the graphics strain.
Good to be on here, looking forward to some interesting discussions regarding the game and other topics as well.
