Yeah I agree, The old graphics made it look more closed in and made you feel lonely in the dungeons of the sanc, I even felt with diablo 2 the graphics made it less gothic. Your picture is awesome and makes it look like hes in the dark woods :O. I agree with sproket too, To many lights lighting up things. But I must say the new GFX are a HUGE improvement, Blizzard has come a long way since Diablo 1.
" We know that Azmodan, Lord of Sin, and Belial, Lord of Lies took over Hell. Eventually, Azmodan and Belial turned on each other. We never find out who wins that conflict.
I believe we heard about Azmodan's death, because Belial is mentioned as the last lesser evil. Now, people assumed this meant Belial defeated Azmodan. Perhaps, or perhaps Azmodan died in hell, where as Belial was in the mortal world.
Belial decides that if he wants power back he's going to have to eliminate all obstacles in his path. To do this he takes the form of the dead Decard Cain (Or possesses him) in Tristram. This explains why he was still alive when you reach him.
He uses his knowledge of hell, demons and the horadrim to aid you in your quest. With his help you eliminate the lesser, greater and prime evils... This is why Decard Cain came with you, why he helped you, why he was always there with the knowledge needed.
Plus, in Judaic beliefs, the names Belial AND Cain were both names of demons."
It was a Deckard Cain = Belial Lord of Lies forum. But it actually tells you alot and is a good theory for this topic.
