I haven't played any seasons yet, but you need to have PS plus if you're on console, right? I'm interested in trying them out. I need to make a new character or what?
Ah, OK. So seeing as how I will have to sacrifice a primary stat, is there one I can select that won't bring my DPS down, like a least important primary?
That's what I figured, that is, to roll the worst stat off for a socket, but 90% of the time the worst one I pick does not have sockets in the "view possible replacements" window. I usually always have to roll off a higher stat to get a socket, and that's where I think my DPS is hurting.
The worst stats are always at the bottom of the items property list, correct?
BTW, what are the "right leg gems?" Maybe noobish..lol, but just asking:)
1. I'm trying to socket my necklace and rings for legendary gems, but every time I do, my DPS suffers. It does not seem to matter which property I pick, DPS always suffers. Is there a certain trick or something to keep the green arrows in the stats?
2. Is it possible to change the DPS arrows to green? I have a necklace (unsocketed) that I want to wear, but it has 3 red DPS arrows. I'd really be grateful if anyone can help.
I support this idea, as long as stated above, it gives players no competitive advantage.
I'd like to buy more styles for my lady Monk. I hate the default short hairstyle, and the only long hairstyle I've seen is on that cool looking cowl with the ridiculous horns on it (GAG). Get rid of the horns already! More hairstyles, more styles for hands, feet, chest, weapons...this could be a huge thing for the game.
Does anyone have one that they don't want to use? I'm using the normal one, and because I have it equipped, I don't think the game will drop an ancient one. I could be wrong though. The only thing I can really trade for it is gold; I don't think I have anything anyone wants, but I could always check my inventory. Tnx much:)
I just put on some new pieces of gear. Before I did, my inventory screen said armor was 989K. Nine hundred thousand eighty nine. I put on enough green arrows that it should have crossed over to the 1 million mark. Instead, my screen says armor is 1479k!! What the heck?
I'd sure like to know how this happened. I feel cheated. Thanks for any help:)
I checked all gear I have equipped and it's all level 70. I know I screwed up somewhere, and I think I remember how.
When I first started playing the game, when it came to gearing up I didn't look at the red and green arrows; I only checked the big white number that's on all the gear. If it was greater than what I had on, I put it on, even if was all red arrows. I think that's where I messed up.
To experiment, I started a new lady monk, she's level 11 and her armor is already 10.9K because I've been keeping an eye on those arrows and I put all my paragon points on. Such a tremendous difference. It looks like I'm correcting my mistake. I don't think I'll be able to improve my level 70 gal's armor, unless there's a way I don't know about.
Thanks everybody for the input. I have 3 sockets on my chest piece and 2 sockets on the pants, all filled with the flawless emeralds. That jumped my damage and dexterity A LOT at the time, and it did my armor some good. I wish we could have sockets in all our gear, I can only imagine what that would do. Strange thing is, I started Hardcore mode with a Monk; he's level 28 and his armor is 12.5K!!! Dang, my lady Monk's armor sucks...lol.
Paragon points into Life would help too, right? Someone said that armor is only one piece of the puzzle that makes up physical resilience.
I'm working on Dexterity in Paragon points now and armor. I have resist all maxed out. Maybe I should start putting paragon points into Vitality.
HP is a heavily weighted factor in toughness. If you have sacrificed Vit on too many pieces to get that DPS, it would explain your low toughness in relation. For T6, I usually try to have a 500K or so HP pool.
That might be what I did. So, I have to sacrifice some DPS and look for Vitality if I want to bring my Armor back up?

Oh man I hope not. But if that's true, it's cool. Just progression will be very slow till I get plus.

Oh OK, thanks very much. I thought the stat was supposed to be labeled with a M for million, that's all. Thanks again:)

I tried that a couple days ago; didn't seem to work for some reason.
