I honestly don't think it could work. Why would your buildings suddenly get grittier and darker as time went on? Why would your vision fail you, suddenly there are black clouds impairing your vision, but it wasn't like that back in the forgotten tombs?? I don't think it could work, would need some explanation as to why things change magically.
Time progresses and more of hell's minions are released into Sanctuary? Prime Evils/Lesser Evils start taking action and these actions cause direct effects to Sanctuary? Again, D3 takes place twenty years after D2. In that time evil wasn't running around killing everything and everyone, it was probably as close to "peaceful" as it could be. Twenty years of people not being killed everyday by zombies and skeletons would mean no bodies or blood. The Forgotten Tomb specifically would be near empty of corpses and such... Seeing as how it was Forgotten and no humans were apparent to provide those corpses and blood.
It's not "loyalty" or "disloyaty" that brings a person to express their opinion on the art direction of a video game. Lol, people are making it seem like there are two sides. "True fans" and "others" and these two groups are entirely dependent on a question of, "Do you like the graphics from the trailer?".
As EzCheez and I have pointed out in previous posts, it's very likely that the "Forgotten Tomb" is the area beneath New Tristram's church. The comet punched through the ground and we've seen concept art of, who looks to be, Leah looking down into a hole.
What I don't understand is, is New Tristram located where Tristram was? Some people decide to build a church in a new town and it just so happens to be over the Tomb as well? The fact that the Tomb leads out to Leroic Highlands would point to New Tristram being built over the ruins of Tristram, or at least very close to it.
Excuse me? Theres no need for sarcasm like that. I think theres nothing wrong with people liking the game the way it is and I never said anything along those lines. I just have problems with people using insults.
Lol? Why are you getting aggressive with me when I am showing dislike to the OP as well. And your way of arguing with this "Kyle" is all wrong, trying to act civilized with such a person is silly.
I'll agree... It's a bit too much glow. They should reserve flashy looks for weapons that are actually good. What was that Barbarian holding? A 93-100 dmg hammer/maul with fire damage? Thing had like a 2 foot trail of fire whenever it swung.

Also, shouldn't generalize an entire forum and it's members when a group of them do something. Just makes you look like an idiot.

And, were these dead bodies in the background somewhere? Or do you mean the corpses that a character can interact with and reveal treasure?
