It sounds like you are a casual player like me and in that case I would say give it a go. I generally play a couple months of each season depending on how long it takes for me and my mates to get burnt out. Blizzard always manage to bring something new to the table which brings us back and gets us excited but after a while it starts to become a grind fest for us. At this point we pack up and move on thinking we will never play again only for a new season to launch and we are all back.
I would suggest uninstalling EVGA Precision and trying without it. When I upgraded to version 16 recently it caused terrible graphical lag in D3 for me as well as numerous other problems. I see that they have fixed a number of the problems with updates but I still had problems when I tried the latest build a week or so ago.
