    im doing my part so that the legions of retards that were born after 1989 might realise how graphics are icing on the cake,and not important enough to petition to the devs on how they need to change how it looks to please them. dont you understand the concept of respecting the artists decisions? do you realise the audacity of your requests?

    ultramegazord, your lack of ability to see the whole argument explains why graphics are such a big deal to you. lets see if i can break past your short sightedness and make it simple:

    if you want the game to look like those screenshots, its really simple. hit the menu on your monitor, see color saturation? yeah, turn it down, lil more.....little more...riiiight there! there ya go, only red and some really bright shades of purple and blue will shine threw. ok now, see the contrast option? jack that up about as far as it lets you go.

    viola! you have your preconcieved notion of how diablo 3 should look without wasting the developers time they could be using on bug stomping to REMOVE HALF THE COLORS FROM THE GAME.

    ultramegazord you just proved my WHOLE ARGUMENT. who gives a fuck about how it looks? really now? why does it matter THAT much?

    lets see, no one has commented on how incredibly polished and true to the classic diablo look the character models have, how fluid and lively all the animation is, and thanks to a seemingly robust physics engine for this type of game, the attacks actually convey a believable sense of power and viceralness that i have yet to see in a dungeon crawler. the fact that they are staying so true to the oldschool gameplay style but added in slight tweaks such as health orbs insteat of using health pots constantly makes alot more sense considering the fast paced nature of the game. also consider the fact of how long they have had to polish this gameplay formula and just think of how solid its going to be all threw the game.

    this is exactly why most modern day games all look and play the same.
    the mentality of the user base is concerned more about how it looks than how it plays. out of ALL the threads ive seen on this board, all have been focused on how it doesnt look like "thier opinion" on how the game should look. dont you realise how stuck up and snobbish you sound? i for one am glad that a next gen game is ACTUALLY USING THE FULL COLOR PALLETTE rather than grungifying the whole damn game into some brown mustard tint becuase it has to slam the fact that its HARD AND BRUTAL AND SO EVIL becuase exploding zombies,locusts clouds, witch doctors, fat walking tumors that explode with ELECTRIC (im presuming demonic) EELS FLYING OUT OF THERE CHEST CAVITY, and least but not least DIABLO HIMSELF COMING FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL isnt evil enough for you.
