I'm confused;
Why do the hardcore Diablo community believe that the presence of evil somehow eliminates the laws of physics, in specific - the ones that Newton and Goethe first introduced in their books; "Opticks" and "Zur Farbenlehre"?
In layman's terms;
Water + photons = FUCKING RAINBOW!

Haha, my thoughts exactly. I just want to pick him up and cuddle him to death.

Shouldn't the horns be located at the top of his head, above the eyes?
This picture doesn't tell me anything new (of course not, then they would have ruined the surprise at WWI).

There is no way of knowing what hides behind the shroud before Blizzard publish the next/last picture.

What do you see? I see a Blizzard executive laughing his ass off.

Yeah, it actually does. Does that prove anything?
If you'd like me to, I could form the number 666 from the exact same numbers.
Can you spell misleading or........ *drumroll* COINCIDENTAL?

The splash image doesn't tell us squat. It is simply a great advertising trick by Blizzard to stir up some interest concerning WWI. It does not necessary have anything to do with the upcoming title. It might, but we don't have ANY proof for it.
The eyes and the blurry shape in the center of the picture can fit any figure, either from the realm of Diablo or Sesame Street, as long as you want it to fit. This is called "observer bias". Since so many (me included) in this forum want to eyes to belong to Diablo, of course many will locate him in the splash image (horns, forehead etc).
The runes/insiglia comes from at least three different Blizzard-franchises (Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo). The last two may or may not come from Lost Vikings or Pax Imperia, it doesn't really matter, because it doesn't tell us anything about the fourthcoming game.
And the pentagram? Well, if you were to place 5 points around an open space, isn't it natural to place them with equal distance from each other? Voillà, you have yourself a pentagram!
One more thing; does the hidden picture/words/numbers (especially the numbers) tell us anything? Yeah, they do, as long as you want it to do. Once again most of you are fooled by the phenomenon of observer bias. As long as you're looking for Diablo related clues, you WILL find Diablo related clues.
So why don't we just sit down and wait for Saturday?
Lars (Diablo fan) :-)
