So then, who is responsible for the Worldstone's destruction? Cain.

Baal would have wanted to corrupt the Worldstone whether or not you did what you did.

when D3 walks the earth , and we must every month pay for ...
well - i'm prety sure that he shall walk the Earth very alone - like he currently do in D2 ...
but D2 is free , and still unhabitable place.
World of Gothic ( Gothic 4 ) or some new free online RPG will change D3 right at the moment when it b.net become payd.
And this is 100% sure thing.

I know I'm quoting something he said a while ago but honestly....what?!

149 days...i hope its near that number..blizzard is not stupid, they are not loosing players from wow..i mean the will loose some, but the effect of the players that arent playing wow and want a single player game (p2p free) diablo will be greater than the loss..its pure marketing, and dont worry they will make a lot of money :)

The only people they are really losing are people (like me) who were only playing wow because there was no D3 :P

I think there will be some sort of twist. He will end up being an angel, a demon, or maybe he will be son of an angel and a human (I think that falls into the founding of one of the races)

Or a nephaelem thingy, the super duper human ppl. Thats what I think he is, whether or not he is aligned with good or evil is what I really don't know.

I say bring back D2 style inventory. I'd rather bitch about inventory size and see the awesome graphics that Diablo 2 had than look at tiny little pictures.

Gameplay>Graphics (add a few more >s in there)

I doubt it'll be out that soon, and I really hope they don't rush it or anything, which I highly doubt they will.

If it does come out that soon, sweet, but I'd rather wait a bit longer for a better product anyway.

Thats my opinion too, i liked some edited pictures, but in some situations it sacrifices the detail level on the scene, i don't know if this is good. But the warcraft presence is enfatic, and it is not good too.

I really really really don't get this whole ZOMG WARCRAFT NOOO thing. I've played WC3 and WoW to death (don't hate me) and I see no similarities art-wise. I guess you can say the characters look a bit cartoony, although I personally think its fine, but I'd much rather have a bit cartoony as opposed to a failed attempt at realism. Sure, WC3 is pretty much a cartoon, but just because D3's models don't look real doesn't mean they're drawing from warcraft. And please, for the love of god, don't say stupid things like "The inventory is the same, therefore they're making another WoW." If you actually look at all the arguments for why this game is like WoW, they are, in the end, either in miniscule things like inventories, or simply false.

Anyone with Photoshop can go in and add darkness (in this case, in an area its not supposed to be) to an area. It takes real thought and talent to make a game feel dark even when the environment isn't, and I think Blizzard has shown us that they can.

i am gonna try posting every 2-3 pages so everyone will see it at least once :P

At least link the picture so its not just plain annoying. You're just acting like a 3 year old, no one cares what you think if you try to get it across in a trolling manner like this...

I honestly don't get the whole blue/green critiques. Personally I think it looks more like fog as opposed to anything else. Dark =/= Evil. When I was watching the gameplay video I personally thought it really added to the unknown aspect of the area. Just because the lighting isn't black doesn't mean its not a spooky place.

yea i am gonna "spam" for a while to make it Crystal clear, cause this Poll is a thriller, when all of you voted over the other thread that NEED more WORK!!

    1. Obviously this thread is going to have more and different people voting in it as its on the front page...so yea. People who like the graphics aren't gonna go looking around for threads about people not liking the graphics.
    2. I hear acting like a retard gets your point across.
    3. I also hear acting like a retard gets you banned.

Making bright areas dark is not going to solve anything. Just because there are bright places in an evil game doesn't mean its going to turn into a Hello Kitty Island/WoW hybrid.

It. Needs. More. Work. Do I make myself clear?

Sunny meadows, flowers, monsters that look like they've been copied directly from Wow, the mysterious blue and green glow everywhere and rainbows DO NOT FIT IN DIABLO.

So everywhere should be evil? Its been 20 years, but everything is still all messed up! Makes sense. I highly doubt these places will stay all nice and pretty.

One more thing, I'm not quite sure how I like "destructible environments" as once you've played through the game a time or two you're going to know exactly what to look for, it'll be a rush to "shoot the wall" on co-op games. Considering the typical die-hard Diablo fan will play through the game what, 50 times? 100? And any particular level several times each, I think the destrucrible environments are going to be a bit repetitive.

Also, I haven't heard yet, are the dungeons and outdoor environments going to be randomly generated like in games past?? I'd assume so but I haven't heard anything on the subject yet.

Considering that they have randomly generated events (sometimes its a caravan that needs rescuing, or maybe a pack of zombies, MD had it up somewhere) I'm sure they'll do the same for dungeons/destructible areas, although some storyline important things will obviously stay the same.

Here's what I posted in another thread:

Personally, I don't mind the current way it looks, but here's what I would prefer. The beginning of the game should start out in "happier" looking areas that maybe demons just started coming to and haven't yet had the chance to leave their mark on the environment. Then, the further into the game you go the more evil and dark areas become. This would give more impact imo as it shows what the demons have done to the world

I don't think they would've bothered with the whole "20 Years Later" thing if they didn't plan on doing this.
