    It's a figurative representation of Diablo's fanbase.
No, it's not. If I were to change it to 1000, you cannot predict what the percentage would be. It's quite possible the only people who bothered to respond were the "ignorants", leaving the other 946 who would vote otherwise. I'm not saying this is what would happen, but it's not out of the question. Your assumption that the majority shares the same opinion as a select few on a forum only further proves your ignorance.

To your other assumption, yes the 'mood' could change drastically from environment to environment. Have you personally seen all of Sanctuary? Is it not possible that some areas of the world are vibrant, whereas others are dark? Yes, it is possible and it's even happened in Diablo 2. The "small portion" was referring to one small piece of a dungeon and an outdoor scene. The environments they've designed are a lot more interesting than the previous Diablo games'. Act 1 was mundane, boring, bland. The new environment gives a change of scenery and is very appealing to the eyes.

There has been 20 years of peace lore-wise. There's no reason for all of Sanctuary to be covered in blood and darkness. It's only recently that the demons have made their return. It's pretty easy to infer that parts of Sanctuary will still be uncorrupted, whereas other parts will be defiled and sprawling with demons.

Stop trying to argue with me kid, you make a fool of yourself. This is not Diablo II, the scenery will be different. Get the fuck over it boy.

Edit: If you REALLY want to sound intelligent, pay attention to the "Diablo Lore and Environment Art" panel this morning. Until then, stop poisoning these forums with your ignorance.

personally i like the idea of a Corrupt paladin, character being consumed by evil but still fighting for good, itd give him some awesome skills.

im not sure if i like the wichdoctor either, hes interesting but i dunno

as for healing priest/paladin: if they give skills llike wow "+150 HP to target allie" ill shit a brick.

"We now announce a second new character in the upcoming Diablo III, the Death Knight"

No, and no to the "healing class". They want this game to be able to be solo-cleared, which would not be fun or probable with a healing based class.

They might have another "Holy Bolt" type ability that can heal or damage, but that would probably be to the highest extent.

No, it's improperly done because the majority thinks so.

Yes, 54 people are indeed the majority of all the players who will buy Diablo III. Idiot.

This only shows that there are ~54 ignorant people who judge a game as a whole based off a very small portion of it. Just because this area is not "dark and gothic" doesn't mean the others aren't. I'm sure whatever Blizzard releases will fulfill the player's need for gothic style environments. Wait until they show screenshots of the rest of the game before you post any more of your ignorant bullshit again please.

    Hello,
Diablo is a loard of terror and Baal is a big brother of diablo that's why baal is a last boss.

He was the last of the three brothers to be captured into the soulstone by the Horadrim. Several tomes that may be found beneath the cathedral of Tristram speak of Diablo being the leader and the strongest of "The Three", though he is the youngest of the three brothers.

    Diablo is the strongest.

I think you're supposed to dodge his "Finisher Moves". As in, you can avoid them, if you don't you die.

Adds strategy and difficulty. I like it.

If everyone gets the item, then no one is unique, no one cares.

What don't you understand about everyone getting different loot? Everyone will not 'get the item'. You could get a unique item and 'Joe' could get a crappy white.

Wow, what an idiot. If you're definition of "playing" is to stand by a boss while everyone else downs it so you get the loot then quite frankly I'd rather not "l2p" as you so eloquently put it. I prefer actually downing bosses as opposed to thinking about how I am going to steal the loot.

But then, I'm not a fucking asshole.

With the new loot system nobody will 'stand next to a boss' since everyone gets their own separate random loot table..people will be encouraged to actually fight the boss

Most people who dislike the loot system don't understand it.

Everyone does NOT get the same loot. Everyone has random loot generated for them, so when you say

    "Hey, I found a HoZ"

Chances are everyone else will be like

"Shit, I got some crappy blue, wuw for HoZ"

Of coarse it probably won't be about hoz but you should be able to understand. It's basically making sure some ass with pickit doesn't steal all the loot.

The complaining part is called criticism.
Don't make me smack you nerd. Go back to your basement and post bullshit to someone that would actually give a damn to your insults.

Hey idiot, they said they've been working to make it have dark emotion. How the fuck do you expect to get an accurate representative of the emotion of the game from 10 minutes of gameplay? You can't "critique" a game by saying "not dark enough" when they blatantly said 'we're aiming for brighter gameplay with dark emotion'. I swear you're either dumb as shit or a kid.

Wait until it's in beta stages at least before you whine about the sand in your vagina again.

I personally like smaller sized parties. With 8 players it was always some huge aoe clusterfuck. Less players allows for a lot more strategic elements and makes it harder.

I've noticed a lot of threads where people are complaining about this and that, so how about just one giant cluster fuck of bitching instead of a billion threads?

    Maybe someone can sticky this?

    I'll go first....

The graphics aren't what I was hoping for. I think the 2d sprites of D2 looked more gothic/real than the cleaner, "cartoony' graphics shown in the game play tailer. It's not dark at all. Hell...I'd take having 2d sprites again if it meant feeling immersed and dark in the game. Don't get me wrong, the graphics look good and the detail is amazing, but couldn't they have made it more realistic? Maybe just putting some polish on the D2 engine and give more defined detail?

The unique loot system kind of puts a damper to the excitement of seeing an item drop. I'm all about people getting phat lewts, but now everyone will get everything and to boot the loot that is drop will be the same for everyone in the game. I liked the excitement of seeing a unique drop and spamming my left mouse button to pick it up and hearing the sweet sweet noise it makes when you loot an item. I liked looting the only grandfather in a Baal run.

Blizzard seems to cater more and more to the casual, cry baby with each new game they come out with.

I'm also a bit upset with only 5 classes. People want variety. 7 would have been nice. But I wont cry over this.

So yeah...lets keep the angry posts about what we hate here to not spam the forum.

I guess you didn't listen. They said each player will have their own randomized set of loot. So it won't be the same for everyone. The loot system is a huge improvement, unarguable. Unless you were someone who enjoyed scamming and stealing items from people, then it sucks.

I'm just basing this on the FAQ from the diablo3 site.

And I'm just telling you that the lead developer announced a few hours ago that they want to have several classes, but have no set number. When I was listening, it sounded like he wanted a bit more than 5. More around 8'ish, but he did definitely say that they don't have a certain number set for now. He's probably more reliable than the FAQ.

On the Dev Panel they stated that they don't have a set number of classes yet. I'm going to go with the most recent word from the lead designer and say that Diablo III could very well have 7+ classes. As long as the classes are in depth and fun, 5 is more than enough for me tbh.
