I'm not sure if I'll get any responses because well people at the very top of the leaderboards will most likely not share any secrets but here goes. For the past week or so, I have been trying to complete GR 70+ solo with no luck. My stack of 100 GR keys is now down to 20ish with some mixed in usage of speed GR runs. But I would say 75-80% have been spent on solo GR pushing with countless fishing.
What are some tips and secrets for the Helltooth Zombie Bears build for high GR pushing?
Sorry to thread jack but I didn't really want to make a new thread but this question applies to LPS heals.
For GR65s, as a xp heal monk is it expected that you should be able to keep everyone alive through say explosions, multiple arcane beams, mallet lords, and basically anything that can one shot? I'm currently sitting at 970k LPS just sitting in town not doing anything.
Leaving the Boss fight is really only beneficial IMO when your doing speed 70+ or when you are to the point where legendary gems are so high you can't level them anymore.
Ain't got time to try out exploits. I mean mats are precious to me since I don't play 12+ hours a day. So to those who were banned for trying it out, my question is how many hell fire amulets did you craft? How many mats did you waste to "try" the exploit? "Trying" out the exploit for 2-3 hours on 4 accounts, well yeah come on bros!!! 2-3 hours to "try" the exploit means you were trying to craft amulets with possibly all passives all because you wanted to tell your buddies hey I had all the passives at once just to be cool? You went out of your way to "try" it out. And those who said they will not play a Blizzard game ever again are lying to themselves. Hypocrite much?
If you have enough CDR then it's fine. There is a small timeframe to use judgement. And this small timeframe is even smaller for some rift guardians. You will need practice. But the patch will go live in less than a week...
When is this time of when to use it? Is it right after the affix wears off? I'm not worried about the new patch. Just trying to help out in high GR groups to level gems.
wqwfst I don't have perfect CDS rolls on my items so I've tried using Crimsons with Vigilante Belt running the Bash setup. Would you recommend doing this? Also, someone told me that using Judgement lets affixes go off? Is this correct?
Slow time elemental damage is based on the highest elemental damage you have to proc the Tals meteor. From my experience if you have an equal amount of arcane and fire, your slow time will be arcane. Not sure how this goes with equal amounts of cold and fire. You'll have to test it out.
A couple of things about your current build. You are running a DelRasha hybrid. But you don't have any skills that help to pump out more Slow time bubbles. That's the point of it. Get as much out as you can and surround yourself for protection as well as damage. You don't take advantage at all with the Del 2 set bonus and getting as much cooldown as you can to get out those bubbles so using Electrocute is not good. Magic Missle - Glacial Spike is a typical generator that DelRasha builds use. You could also use Shock Pulse - Piercing Orb. But remember to pick one with a particular element that you don't already have as a skill for the Tal Rasha bonus.
If you haven't seen rebjorn's build, you should take a look. He has so many variations on the hybrid build and you don't need a specific weapon for it. He's got a ton of videos as well. http://www.diablofans.com/builds/54387-delrasha-gr50-4pc-delseres-6pc-tal-rashas If you like using Hydra he has a version with the Hydra build but uses a Serpent Sparker, but you could still make use if it but might cap you off at a certain GR level. Watch his videos on how to play it. He's actually very offensive with his bubbles. Not just surrounding himself for protection but seeking packs.
As for survivability, you really need Energy Armor - Force Armor even with Unity. Ice Armor - Crystalize is really only good with the Halo or Arlyse ring.
As for items, a better RROG with crit stats. If you have another pair of gloves, that resource cost reduction is kind of a wasted stat because you aren't spamming a ton of arcane spenders. If you have gloves with Int, Vit, CC, and CD you will want to change that Vit in your amulet to CC. Or if you have gloves with Int, CC, CD, and CDR you can keep Vit in your amulet.
For gems, typically Taeguk is used when you spam a lot of spenders to keep the Taeguk stacks up. The hybrid guide above will explain which gems that are typically used. I have used Bane of the Trapped, Zei, and Toxin.

I'm looking to show a bit more love for my Crusader. I know I need better items, especially boots (this was from my Firestarter build ... sigh) and getting trifecta gloves would be ideal but Kadala doesn't want to give me any. My sheet CDR says 55.18% so there's just a slight delay on keeping Akkarat's Champion up. I don't remember if I maxed out my paragon points since I was messing around last night. My current profile has my gold farm gem. I'm currently seeing crit numbers in the 19-20 million and I'm just looking to do more damage. I've haven't got good luck with a physical SOJ that has crit, cdr and socket, so I decided to use a ring with crit damage and cdr and roll off the cdr on gloves to crit damage. I do have an SoJ that has physical damage (15% I believe), but has dex and life regen. I'm wondering if that would help me more than the focus ring that I have now. Any suggestions on improvements would be greatly appreciated. Just looking to do more damage in T6 to farm more efficiently.
So I finally got a Tasker and Theo drop in a rift, not from KADALA. Just wondering what if any I should re-roll. Or should I just keep it as is in case I want to use it on another class. Tasker and Theo.
I also got an Etrayu drop. Wondering if this is worth gifting or not.
That's a good balance, and 40/400 is decent. There are those that push it farther. Truthfully, make sure your skills are optimal for 3 spender set up, keep Crit Chance/Damage balanced, don't over spend on IAS and try your best to get some elemental% damage (one of my weakest points ATM). I guess a mention of CDR is also warranted, Ultimately, balance is what is sought. Your set up looks pretty good.
Rhykker breaks down breakpoints and has links to good IAS resources here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmrZAe1oUPM very useful figuring out how much further to get IAS to, or reduce to add more of another attribute. He has other info on his account, but this is one of the more recent.
Barring ALL THAT, better gear, better gear, which simply gets harder and harder.
I watched that yesterday as well, and I've just been reading up more about breakpoints and generally what are the best spenders at the breakpoint I'm at. So I switched to a different Royal Ring I had with Crit Damage. Rolled for Crit Chance on my Lacuni bracers. Rolled Fire Damage on Amulet and that seemed to do the trick. Looks like I'm dealing more damage. I'm still playing around with changing between Custom Engineering and Steady Aim. Steady Aim looks like there's an increase in damage, but I'm not too sure if that's based on your characters distance between enemies or the Sentry.
I know I'm wasting IAS on my gear since I'm using a 1h xbow, but this is currently the best gear I have. I'm having a hard time removing the combo of my Traveler's Pledge and Compass Rose, that Vit and Crit Damage increase really helps me and nothing I have so far just matches up to that. Although I do switch out the Traveller's Pledge for Countess Julia's when running public GRIFTs.
But yeah I'll definitely keep grinding, especially for a Tasker and Theo that has DEX instead of INT KADALA PLEASE!!!!
Truthfully, I'm not sure. I don't really focus on how fast, more on what I'm doing. Maybe you're quicker.
I usually am as well, but I just noticed that it seems like I'm not doing enough damage. Perhaps I need to switch some gear or roll out for Crit Chance rather than Crit Damage? Currently my Crit Chance is 38.5% (max paragons) and Crit Damage is 390% (max paragons).

@Willemh Have you experienced when getting out of chicken to explode, that it sometimes does not deal enough damage during the explosion?
