Your argument is invalid, not to mention crude. Secondly, this game isn't just my game, it belongs to ever other member of the Diablo community and many of us are concerned about the game's current art direction. Blizzard was once a company that thrived on feedback, albeit they never disappointed before. Now, with a new staff working on Diablo III we have to remind them what the series is all about, since most of them only have a background with RTS based games like Starcraft or MMOs like World of Warcraft (which has obviously influenced the development of Diablo III in various aspects). In any case, we do have a right to express out concerns just as you have the right to make yourself look like an arrogant shmuck.

I'm sorry im not a member of your comic book club or whatever, but what I said is true and no length of this forum can wrong me.

Don't like it? Don't buy it.

You crossed the line between criticism and "my mom cooks me pizza pops" too long ago.

Ever hear of right to protest?

LOL you can't be serious. This isn't a protest. Diablo 3 is a game. You don't have to buy it.

Its not "your" game. Blizz didn't sit down and design a game based on your wishlist.

When I go to a car dealership and tell a salesman I don't like the colour of a car, he should tell me to go fuck myself. I don't have to buy it. Someone else will.

*Edit* In short, if you don't like it, MYOFG (make your own fucking game)

If this whole petition/movement wasn't a bunch of caffeine-addled crybabies maybe Blizz would take some input seriously? It just sounds like angry 14 year old girls instead of good constructive criticism.

FFS, I thought the acne-ridden nerds who played the first two were now young professionals...........Look how wrong I was.................

posted a message on Diablo III - Gamespot Interviews Rob Pardo
The good news from this video is that:

1.The five classes HAVE been decided. (Rob: "...they are playable back at the home office")
2.They have made progress on the single player campaign ("Act I is pretty much playable")
3.This version of the game has been in development for 3 years (Blizz is usually on a 4 year dev cycle)

So basically he admitted it just comes down to content. They have to add more levels, skills, items, etc., The core game mechanics and engine and planning is basically done.

posted a message on D3 Art Director explains the game new looks.
I think what was said about having a constant gothic vibe for all of D1 and D2 was a good point.

Because with a better graphics engine, if its dark the whole goddamn time it will get old, versus maybe getting darker as the game goes on, which kind of makes sense.

Im reserving judgement though this game is way too far from finished.

Any lore nerds able to tell me how long this is after D2 LoD?

I mean the barbarian class has gray hair and whatnot so that is an indicator of some serious time lapse.

You guys criticizing the graphics should keep in mind this is basically just a tech build, not even an alpha probably.

Look at how WoW looked and changed?

This game is still in development so it is sure to change.

    Sony has:

    Star Wars: Galaxies
    Vanguard
    Everquest
    Everquest 2
    The Matrix Online
    Pirates of the Burning Seas
    Planetside

    Also,

Funcom has Age of Conan and Anarchy Online

    And

Mythic has Dark Age of Camelot and are workingon Warhammer

Diablo can pull fans from bases other than WoW not to mention serious MMO freaks who will play anything.

Not to mention starting a new MMO when WoW is so steep (people going from 1 to 80? thats not appealing to a new buyer looking to start a game) staggers the market and sucks in potential new buyers AND younger ones (eg., wow came out in 04, youngins are 4 years older and have money/credit cards etc.,)

It would be tapping more resources from a business standpoint.
