Here is a video I made demonstrating the rings WORK perfectly fine, and apply damage on the FIRST hit, and both buffs apply to ALL damage.

Great job. I appreciate the video proof showing that the original video was flawed d/t no control test.

Mikhail I appreciate your most recent comment on the original faulty YT vid indicating that you would need to retest. Unfortunately several of the original comments are extremely snotty and dismissive and I hope you didn't mean to come off that way. Would it be possible to delete them?

Video proof? Would love to see it. My video confirms that's not the case.

I went back through the comments to your video and saw that you've copy/pasted this quote to everyone who disagrees with you. This level of arrogance is not at all endearing. What I want to know is, if video proof emerges that proves you failed to account for part of the buff, will you take the video down?

why would he need to showcase it without the rings ?

He show you the damage without the passive and with the passive ...

I don't understand your question proccer?

A true base would be without either ring equipped and then showing us the damage numbers. From his first attack he had both equipped so its hard to see the difference the rings make. As MannerCookie and several others have pointed out already he was playing with part of the multiplicative buff and didn't know it.

My thinking is along the lines of RiffSphere above: the original value would have crit for ~5 million for Weapon Throw and ~15 million for Slam.

Edit: Here's a forum post link indicating the error in testing Here.

In the video you start off by saying, "My crits for XXX skill should be ~20 million." That's great! Why not use two other crappy rings as placeholders for a control test? Something that won't affect the damage like an Oculus Ring and a Leoric's Signet.

You make quality videos. It's not that I don't trust your judgment or observations... it's just that you could demonstrate the set a lot better by using two other rings beforehand.

Fun is subjective, so I doubt I'll be much help there. After enough hours, you'll develop you will be able to decide for yourself what is the most entertaining experience.

While some might disagree, I believe a Demon Hunter sporting a full Marauder's set would probably be most OP at the moment, although there's certainly a case to be made for a Wizard utilizing a Firebird's set.

posted a message on DH and grifts
TBH the only solution I like is to give them health and aggro. Increasing the CD sounds like it will take a lot of testing to get "just right."

If a sentry has about the same survivability as a zombie dog, then I'd say it's a lot more balanced than it is right now. Reddit has a thread (http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/comments/2ewshs/top_100_leaderboardworthy_passives_skills/) showing the average DH in top 100 is 5 grifts ahead of other classes.

I think DHs can take some solace in the fact that Blizz probably doesn't want to implement a substantial nerf when seasons have already gone live in Asia, and will go live in Europe any moment now. In the second era, though, I'd be surprised if some type of "balancing" doesn't occur.
