I'll apologize up front as i'm sure this has been discussed and I'm struggling to find answers. Alot of good info from before 2.1. I main a wizard, and its very obvious that firebird is the way to go (and seems to be only serious option) for Grifts. Do WDs have a similar target build? I know build will depend on specific items, but if you had access to all items, is there a consensus best build? I've seen heavy pet physical, and alot of tlak about Jade. But haven't seen a firm consensus.
Also, if there is a good guidance resource for advice with this "best" build, please advise. No big deal if not....I'm sure I can find plenty of info once I know what build to search for. Thanks in advance!!!
Switched to firebird recently and was able to progress much further. I have close to the perfect gear equipment, but pretty bad rolls on almost everything. So basically, I'm needing to just get better rolls on my gear (and a furnace still!!). I can clear T6 Rifts and getting up to about 28-30 Grift. I know I can get better with more practice, but I also know I need and want better gear long term.
So whats the fastest way to gear up? Should I be doing T6 rifts, or doing Grifts? Also, is it better to always do the highest Grift I can, or should i intenionally be doing lower ones to clear them a little faster (and get more Grifts out of a single "trial key").
Lastly, I have two unitys, but I do not have the relic to give my templer 50% damage reduction. I'm still using the unitys, but i'm guessing this is a mistake, as I'll be kiting and my hp will drop 70% out of the blue with nothing hitting me. Does unity actually hurt if you dont have the damage reduction relic??
Saw your firebird build guide over the weekend which really helped me increase my GRIFT ability. And now this video Monday morning. Well played Jaetch. That was awesome. So glad I found a place people like you post!! Thanks for all the help and entertainment!!
I know these topics are posted all the time, but this forum seems very helpful. I finally accumulated the gear I'm looking for (well, short of WoH and mirrorball). I assume that I do not have all my enchanting perfect. I've tried to research it, but admittedly get a little confused with whether armor vs reduce all is better, etc.. (tried reading those topics too, but just a little advanced for me).
So if anyone can offer advice off the top of their head, I would greatly appreciate it. If I should enchant something, craft different aughilds, etc...
