posted a message on Why fix what isn't broken? (Demon Hunter)
I've been playing a DH since a little after D3's launch. I have one of every class now, but anyway.

I only started using Preparation a few days ago. Up to this point I've been rocking a Lit CA build. Entangling Shot, marked for death, CA, RoV, companion, and preparation.

I found Prep with Punishment to be a little over powered TBH. I took it off after reading about the upcoming fixes. I kill just fine on T1-3. My resource generation without preparation isn't that bad. Due to marked for death and my high IAS. I will admit, I have about 200 hours on my DH, and the only defensive skill I like is Caltrops(Bait the Trap) and Shadow power is pretty useful for getting out of tricky situations since I am not using vault currently.

Personally, I welcome the change. I don't like the idea of relying on one skill to make everything work. I like building classes and having every skill compliment each other, or whatever I find to be fun.

No offense SuchFear, but you keep saying things like the only T6 build for a sader uses champion. Well, my sader cant do a lot of damage on t6(only like 800ishk dps) but without champion on, I still have more then enough toughness. I call my sader the brick shit house because it shits on everyones attempts to damage it.

I have 35-40 mil toughness high life on hit etc. You don't NEED something. You work with what you have and make the best of it. Just like life.
