posted a message on 2.1 - the death of RiF - RIP.
It will also fix public games, no more afkers waiting for someone to open a rift for them. Great change!

posted a message on Fixing the "Rift it Forward" problem without using the nerf bat.
The most "interesting" thing about RiF is that people play the game without playing it, and they find it a lot more fun as long as they are getting more and more gear - to the character that they will never play with. Makes me think we could remove all the battle system and turn D3 into a simple browser game, with the same depth and playability that most people want.

If it was up to me, I would fix (or terminate) RiF by making it cost 1 key to open and enter a rift, and 1 extra key for each other player who tried to join the rift. Would also fix AFKers on public games waiting for someone to open for them. Also, make it so only who joined could close it, fixing the join/close/quit leechers.

posted a message on Microtransactions: What would you pay for?
Extra stash space = Extra space on Blizzard's database, which actually costs them money. I would pay if the price was reasonable.

Cosmetic things would be nice if they were going to use the money to keep improving the game and making new content (which they do too slowly right now). If it was just to make them a little bit richer then I wouldn't buy anything.

posted a message on Fastest way to go from 1 to 70 without a co-op booster?
I got all 6 classes to 70 playing solo.

I started RoS with only a Wizard, then I got it to 70 and farmed the Hellfire Ring (which has no level requiriment and gives +45% xp bonus). Just equip that on a new char, along with everything you can buy/craft, and it becomes a god until at least level 25. After that things get progressively harder, but you shouldn't have any big difficulties. At about level 45 you should get back to your main and find a good 70 weapon with a socket, and roll a "minus level requirement". Put a godly gem on it, and it becomes an easy faceroll again up to level 60. After that I was just doing bounties coop (it's a lot easier to find public games after that level), and would hit 70 in a few hours.

Just do bounties, because rifts are too hard for leveling and campaign gives less XP. Also, you will hit 70 with tons of rift keys for later use. And don't forget to spend your paragon points as soon as you create your new toon.
