A talent calculator for the Wizard class can be found here.
Of course passive talents go up to 15 but the current coding for the calculators only allow for 9 maximum.
Does anyone know how accurate that wizard skill tree is? I didn't play the demo so I was just wondering if those were the skill actual mechanics (aside from not just up to 9)?
Absolutely not true it really depends on what combination of skills was chosen. We all know how we put one point in a skill just to get to the next skill. So we can do that and we end up powering up 2 sets of godly skills of 2 characters instead of pushing everything out of one where we just do synergy. At times it can end up being more effective.
And seriosly imagine like a necro who teleports around, there is a lot of skills which you don't need points in for them to be fucking annoying.
Never played a game with open classes have ya...
It's not hard to imagine a Necro teleing around.
I agree that having an open skill tree would almost balance itself out because of the synergy factor that you mentioned, but if every character can have every skill whats the point of even having different classes? Whats the benefit to playing as any character if the only difference among them is their starting stats and how much life/mana they get per stat point?
I like how each character has their own skills, it makes each class unique.
Necros aren't evil. They are actually the only one of the mage clans that has never been corrupted. (Maybe druids too, not sure)
Have you played Diablo? When did it seem like, in any way, the Rogues were on the team of Hell?
I personally would want to play as a human, like always.
That really wasn't necessary at all. Why would you feel the need to attack someone because he doesn't know the story behind diablo(even if it is a simple reference to evil that could be easily confused) He said in the last sentence "But i dont really know iam just throwin some ideas out for dicussion."
I agree I think they should keep the distinct skills to characters the way it is but with the addition of maybe one to two skill trees. Maybe there are 5 skill trees with only 6 skills in each. Also, the idea that items can add skills that aren't normally on a character are pretty cool because it requires some strategy to get those skills (ie for a sorc putting infinity on a merc instead of just using it)
I would be willing to pay monthly for D3 only if hacks such as dupes were eliminated. Items being duped ruined D2 LOD and if paying however much a month eliminated that I would do it.
Diablo and 2 is not a MMO. MaKing diablo3 a MMO in my eye would be like making Halo3 a raceing game.
I agree and having to pay by the month would suck(not saying that it necessarily would, but Blizzard did it with WoW).
Changing Diablo to MMO would alienate a lot of non MMO fans.
