I actually just got back from visiting Kenya where I had the opportunity to visit the Nairobi National Museum. On display were a number of items formally owned by a genuine witch doctor that had died. Based on what I saw of Diablo 3 so far, I think Blizzard could better represent the African image by making him look a bit darker, without as much brightly colored clothing.
However, perhaps Blizzard is not entirely concerned with being historically accurate.
Or perhaps you are confusing Diablo with real life.
Don't forget, the Diablo 3 expansion will bring on 2 more classes if you don't like the 5 in D3 classic.
The remaining 3 classes will have some form of a mage and a rogue.
I'm praying to god that they have redesigned the necromancer and it will also be included in the game. If not, the last class will be the paladin.
In the "rogue" category, we could definitely see the Druid brought back to fill this role. Check out the art trailer on the D3 website and you will see a concept drawing for a Druid.
They could also bring in a Monk and this would cover the "rogue" as well as remove the need for a paladin.
So now that 2 more teasers are out and they are in fact the "lost"numbers, I'm really starting to believe blizzard has something planned for the this franchise
Yes, the morpher is a class that can transform into any enemy after it has been beaten.
Types: Morpher monster. Specialized in transforming in monsters and upgrading power of monster types (50% more strength to undead tranformations as an example), morpher can transform into any monster after researching his dead body. It could need about 3 bodies of the same monster to archive the transformation.
Morpher caster. Specialized in casting the abilities or using the auras that monsters have, like inmunities for certain time or just the abilities.
Morpher Creator. Morpher creator can make his own monster transformations after searching dead bodies, he can have his own original form of each type of monsters, and also has a special ability, he can transform in other legendary character classes after doing a quest for their dead bodies. (Maybe Izual, Thalic, the summoner, or some interesting monsters).
1. A Diablo II patch? 5% possible
2. A Diablo novel? 25% possible
3. A Diablo game annoucement? 1% possible
4. Blizzard aquiring Diablo3.com? 50% possible
5. Online advertisements for Diablo3.com? 10% possible
6. Revamped Diablo3.com site? 75% possible
7. Diablo game trailer? 1% possible
8. Diablo images? 20% possible
9. Diablo game rumor leak? 20% possible
10. Blizzard's own countdown? 5% possible
just add the original type classes with male/female combination for some... please exclude all this other crap like ninjas, illusionist, captain planet and the rest of the warcraft/ lord of the rings/ special magic crap
This.
diablo is a mindless hacknslash! i don't want to rp, i just want to kill some monsters.
I'm not sure if I can pick one of those things on the list, I'm interested in the game as a whole.
By the way, "wind" in diablo 2 is physical damage. (tornado/twister)
I think you might be right about hurricane being half cold and half "wind" (or physical) because corpse explosion is the exact same way... half fire half physical (is there an exploding corpse element?)
