Yeah, follower weapons can get way up there. My templar's sword is at 2900. Given it's not a thunderfury. I've never seen a TF or SoH in the entirety of this game.

Yeah, uh, I just take all of them off and stash them. I do that with my Templar too. They generally stay on my main, and I won't remove gems from my main when logging off, but if I want to play an alt, it's easy enough to pop on the main, take all the gems off, and dump gems/templar gear into a tab.

That's pretty dependent on what classes you run with. If anyone uses bane of the trapped, the slow time that you can cast at range is amazing. It keeps people from having to pick up skills that slow things. I generally still just run apoc blizz+mammoth hydra+blazar black hole. With the poison gem, blizzard is still a great way to put +10% damage on everything, and any given group will benefit from a black hole+hydra dropped on a champ/elite pack.

Once you get your gear itemized properly, you will be doing a lot more damage with Blizzard (Apocalypse) and Hydra (Mammoth)... Usualy, in T6, I cast 1 blizzard on top of a pack of white mobs and they die before they reach the border of my screen :P

Elite packs, 1 Blizzard + 1 Black Hole (Blazar) and they're done for.... add Teleport (Whormhole) + Illusionist passive and it makes your bounties go really fast! ;)
Yep, this is pretty much exactly how it's done. I drop a blizzard slightly behind white packs, tele past/over them, and just keep moving. I generally don't stop to kill any big mobs that don't die from 1 blizz, unless they're faster than me. Elite packs, I do the same, though it's usually blizz slightly behind->hydra slightly behind->tele over->BH-> keep moving, as anything not dead is certainly going to burn to death.

@heaven: Running magefist/cindercoat is alright, but having a RoRG means not having an SoJ and Unity. Once you get one of these, you'll want to put another FB piece on. Generally magefist > cindercoat. The +fire on magefists don't take up a primary spot, whereas the +fire on cindercoat does. Given, your cindercoat is way better than your magefists.
