    This may be a stupid question but, I have a weapon with 1364-1653 lightning damage on it. I am stacking +% lightning skill damage (currently +45%). Now the question is does that +45% affect the weapon in anyway or just the skills that use lightning damage? Someone told me a I would hit harder with a weapon with lightning damage because of my +45%.
