Who cares about getting banned when the account wa leveled and geared up by afking? Lmfao
    What the fuck?

What the hell would the point be then? Spending $60 every other week for a new account just to watch it burn to ashes?
More like months or even years. People who have botted for more than a year 24/7 are still not getting banned.
How do you know this? Honest question.

Sounds to me like you're just under the impression that botters don't get banned, despite the numerous ban waves that are posted. To say that your quote above is anecdotal would be kind.
I read bot forums a lot and banwaves seem few and far between. The most popular bot who I will of course not name nor link to haven't had a big banwave since december 2012 apparently.
    This.

You're assuming a few things here, first that the account owner has not got 60 dollars worth of enjoyment out of the game so far, second that the account owner upon being banned would purchase another account and third that the account owner views 60 dollars as a sizeable amount of money.
The fuck does that have to do with anything?
    Umm.... It addressed your statement?
How much $60 means to an individual wasn't the point.

How much monetary value the entertainment dollar one spends garners said person, wasn't the point.

The point was; To put yourself in jeopardy of losing your account so you can fill it with items like an engorged exploit tick......well that would be akin to chasing your tail.
Well you're right if you exclude the fact you're probably not going to be banned.

Actually in this case it's not hard to fix or prevent from occurring in the first place, any event or mob that spawns other mobs should have had a timer associated with it from the beginning that basically would say after x amount of time mobs stop spawning or after x amount of time mobs spawned no longer grant xp or drop items, hell I'm a first year computer science major and you learn that type of concept first semester.....

    Yeah, OK bud.

Clearly the game is meant to be played by an active human being. Therefore, any form of "strategic use" of anything that allows you to play without actually being at the keyboard is clearly abusive and exploitative behavior.

The idea that someone should be allowed to get XP or items without actually playing the game (sorry, if you're AFK then you're not playing the game... you're mowing the lawn, or sleeping, or whatever) is laughable. The fact that someone would defend that as a legitimate way of farming, however, is truly pathetic.
I have to agree that as outline this is clearly an exploit however what if this is actually working as intended? I mean these exploits keep popping up so either Blizzard is employing a highly incompetent team of devs and testers or this was purposely programmed to function this way.

Yeah there are people who spend tons of time trying to find exploits and they could be using that time for better purposes however I would venture to say many exploits are stumbled upon and then the person eh found the exploit gets excited and releases the information for others to use it. The issue here is not the people who waste their time trying to find exploits, because those people typically know if they do find an exploit and leak it then it gets patched sooner, those people keep the exploits to themselves to avoid the masses learning about it and it being patched. The only reason these exploits are known is because sooner or later some average guy stumbles across it, notices it and releases it to the community.

As for mods closing these threads all that would really do is send the message that this community does not condone using exploits, it would not however prevent the information from being spread thru the 100s of other mediums they are spread thru.

Can't wait to try this but I still have an active game from the other A5 afk farming using the Emikdeva event, they only patched it for new games created so any old games still up and running still work haha.

Just thought I'd post this to make a point that nobody gives a shit if you get no legendaries all day or they rain in nonstop, RNG is RNG.

posted a message on Cheating map generation for bounties?
"First I thought that you need to kill a certain number of mobs (or spend a certain ammount of time) in an area before you get the quest marker, but that is not true. Can clearly be proven by going for the "forged in battle" bounty in act 3 and starting on the next waypoint, ging back up. You get the quest marker immeadiatly as soon as you enter the area, no kills needed."

The example you used pretty much dismisses your point entirely. Whether you start in keep depths 1 and run all the way through the map to get to the bounty, or you start at depths 2 waypoint and go thru the portal to keep depths 1 the event almost always spawns right at the end, in fact I have never had it spawn anywhere but that one location. If your "theory" was true if I entered depths 1 via the portal from depths 2 the event would not spawn there. I have also countless times walked into an area with a bounty and found the bounty within 15 seconds, sometimes its right there when you first enter the zone sometimes it's not. RNG is RNG, idk how many times people on this forum need to point that out for others to understand. If you want to come on here and suggest something like this is occurring please bring more data than simply anecdotal evidence.
