Not bad my friend. From a fantasy writer to another I liked it. There were a few issues here and there but I'm not going to comment to harshly because you said it was outdated. Can I ask to see something current of yours? I'd love to see your true abilities for myself.

HELL YES!!! I'm gonna post my contest entry here. I hope you all enjoy it! I might even post an ancient fanfic I wrote years ago featuring a mix of different games with Diablo as the main focus...if I can find it....

Thank you magistrate! I mean I've been trying to level up my necro to try it for myself as Uber Trist is the whole reason I came back after 5 years absence. I'm psyched about this new patch hope the necro gets some love since we're all gonna miss him in D3

That's why I play him Completing the game with the necro is just an accomplishment, you can't POWER through the game which to me is just lame. You actually have to develop and strategize.

Asynchronic mvm is right I mean all I had for MF was a Nagel ring and I found half of Trang's Avatar and Duriel's Shell on NM A2 and I SWEAR on my life an SoJ in a rock pile in one of the Kurast Temples in Travincal A3 (though I can't remember if it was NM or hell diff.

You know this figures I was this close to completing my experimental necro build on ladder and....yea as I said go figure....(deep breath and sigh). I just succeeded in toppling Diablo Hell within 3 minutes and am currently on A5 Hell. I mean I even went one on one with Uber D at level 56 with this build for fun. I didn't die but I couldn't win either (regens too fast) so that tells you something. Well at least I'll be able to say my build got me through Hell without any problems....

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited...oh well sirrah sirrah. So then I shall be there under the name Vigmortis once again. See you all there.

If I can make it through A5 without dying it will be bumped to 90%

BTW can someone tell me if Uber Diablo and/or Uber Tristram is Ladder only? I'm not getting a straight answer out of anything

These are really awesome designs. I wish there were better D attractions though I love the Worldstone ride with Tyrael.

I would like people to comment about my response and tell me if it has merit if alright with everyone here. I want to try and share this with everyone who has a problem with the current classes. Hopefully this may make you feel better cause after thinking about this it made me feel better. Still upset about losing the necromancer but felt better none the less......:necro:

Geez....Alright. From my experience with RPGs it must be understood that archetypes are always, I repeat, ALWAYS in any RPG of any caliber. There is always a combination of (not necessarily all but also not limited too) the following:

-power (warrior)
-elemental magic (mage)
-healer(cleric)
-speed (thief)
-long range (ranger)

(Which btw is what made the necromancer so cool in my opinion because not only was he none of these characters directly (cept long range maybe), but until D2 the concept of controlling your own army of minions was practically unheard of [I speak for RPGs of course]).

And so my point is, to outcry against any RPG game or any action game that allows multiple character types like these, is pointless, short sighted, and completely unmerited. Almost all characters that are molded and created to be other characters are normally just variations of the above mentioned classes but stand alone in many ways. Like let's use the Wizard as an example.

She clearly is our elemental mage character coming into this, but look at what skills are being used in different styles. The electrecute and disentegrate spell, while lightning and fire, are being used in ways we've never really seen before in Diablo's world. And that is just two of the many skills we've yet to see, also consider the new rune system that will allow us to teleport and attack our foes at the same time which has NEVER been done before in the Diablo world by anything.

To this poster's credit, he did have some good ideas, but, and btw I'm now talking to all doubters and nay-sayers about anything about this game now just to try and get them to calm down a bit; when you post these suggestions to the crew (and I won't say your opinion isn't valid I'm just saying think about this before you post) you are talking to a staff that has been working on this game since D2 was released which is now almost 10 years, I'm sure that they know enough of what they is doing not to disappoint the fanbase that practically made Blizzard what it is today. Yes I mean the D2 fanbase. Props and respect to WoW, but come on w/o the huge success of D2 I doubt WoW would have been tried by that many people.

And there's my two cents folks let me know how you feel. Sorry for the long post
