It would be cool to stick to the current gem system wherein a gem does different things depending on where its socketed. Such legendary gem could be, for socketing in helm, "Gain the effect of a random pylon each time you gain 10% experience of your current level." For weapon, "+20% All Elemental Damage." And for other armor, "Elite Enemies now have a small chance to drop Flawless Imperial gems." Unique. Req. Level 70.
As much as I welcome gems and gear that can totally change your playstyle, I think it would also cost an outrageous amount considering you're risking having to master this new play style under a certain skill set (subbing all CHD and CHC for something else is costly and risky).

Kadala now says positive things when you get a legendary or set item. I got "what a steal!"
There is a gold counter on the lower left quadrant of the screen. It seems to count a total amount of gold you collect while collecting gold. Disappears after 3 (?) seconds of no gold collected. This is nice if you have gold pickup/ gold find sets.
Also, labels for amounts of gold are once again present on gold piles. (Thank you!)
