Will you be adjusting the builds editor to allow people to make and search for 2.6.4 builds?
Doesn't really matter that much, to be fair.
Creating a guide now, doesn't need the build-section to be updated (unless for item reasons).
Searching for a build, doesn't need the patch either (to be fair, I never understood why it was even a search option). Just search by week/month (what ever fits).
Everyone (except the Xbox360 and PS3 doesn't get updated anymore - I think they stopped getting them around 2.0.6 or something) will be on the newest build/patch anyway, as there isn't really an option to not be on the newest build/patch. -

POE creates new content for every season, and is fucking free to play. You don't have to spend a dime to get the new content.
That is STILL the worst comparison that has ever been made between PoE and D3.
Sure, you dont HAVE TO pay to play PoE's content, but you can bet your ass that there are tons of people that buy their packs every time a new league starts (myself included). They are earning money like crazy. Dont even doubt that for a second.
Sure, every can play it for free without buying the packs - but if everyone did that; the game would have closed down loooong ago.
But they don't. I've played PoE since closed beta. That's about 7 or so years of playing it on and off. In that much time I've spent under $150 USD on packs and the like for the game or $21.42 per year on average. Blizzard should've adopted or switched over to a F2P monetization system ages ago for D3 in order to help fund the costs for development - it's not their first game doing F2P (hearthstone, heroes of the storm, even SC2 multiplayer went completely F2P not that long ago). Not paywall it like Necro DLC. You should know better, none of PoE's content is paywalled, 4 stash tabs standard for a free account and all the actual 'content' in experiencing to play the game in it's entirety is completely free. People spend money on it because the system and the game itself is strong enough to warrant doing so. It's funny how things went in opposite directions for PoE and D3.
D3 from Blizzard who had the funds and means to redefine the 2D ARPG genre for many years and could've had the potential to surpass D2 as a legacy defining title instead turned into this minimalistic effort maintenance mode game.
PoE from 3 guys working out of their garage from New Zealand plodded on thru for years and got to where they are now.
Both games have their differences, at this point everybody knows that. But D3's fell off, their idea of trying to introduce a 'theme' in their seasons are literally ripped off mechanics of holiday events of the past. They're practically copying and pasting lines of code in the past but to last around 3-4 months.
They dont? Doesn't really add up with what you mention you've bought.
You just stated, that in the time that you've played the game, you've spent more than D3+Expansion+DLC costs.
..and you're hardly even buying any packs, compared to the rest of the community. Just compared to me, you've hardly used anything on the game, but for each player that doesn't buy anything; there will easily be ones that buy tons of stuff. I've bought $90 worth of packs, the last 4-5 leagues (usually $30-60 before that) and I've reached the "Redeemer"-pack for the current "expansion" (thinking about throwing $80 on top of that, to get the "Subjugator"-upgrade), while also buying the initial founder/supporter pack for the game, way back when it got opened up for that.
If you spread out yearly earning for "the average player", it wont be that big a sum - but it'll be way more than the earnings Blizzard made with D3 (AH aside, when that was a thing).
I agree, that Blizzard should have monetized D3 way better, after the closure of the AH - but I kinda think they "crawled into hiding" with that massive failure and continued outrage from the community over other things at the time. They were stumped - big time..
Just like when people were outraged about the "Season only"-legendaries. Massive outrage about that, which kinda ruined the "uniqueness" of seasons and the longevity of it. Now it's "just the same" (but I still play every season and complete every journey), with no real difference added to them.
If D3 had cosmetic wings (and other cosmetics) in the shop, like they do in the Asian version - I'd be buying the shit out of that as well. It was a missed opportunity on their part. Should have brought that over, when they were doing it on that client. -

Wow.. It's real easy to spot, that the purchase of Curse, and the addition of video uploads to Twitch, has changed this site a fair bit (Just glad you guys stopped setting the Twitch videos to auto-play!)
Every video via Twitch, instead of the usual YouTube stuff before.
Amazon/Twitch is really pushing to try and get people to use the video upload feature, I guess.
Oh well.. It works - it's video, regardless of where it's hosted.

On topic though:
...that cosplay is very low-effort. Just looks like something that was scrapped together, from various pieces of cosplay and then a skull was slapped on the head and one was grabbed..
In regards to Rhykker's video; that was 3+ weeks ago (at least his YouTube video about it, which is the same content). Yeah, I know this post was done a week ago, but that's still 2+ weeks after his video went up.. That's not really new news anymore. But hey.. I guess some people haven't heard/seen it.
Not really a fan of the Westmarch Workshop, so won't/can't comment on those. -

I wonder how long it'll be, before the new mobs actually show up in Rifts.
It's not something I've looked into, but with their track-record of adding mobs from new zones; it'll probably be in a few months after the patch goes live :/ -

I would assume it rolls with a socket and 3 primaries, seeing as a socket is handled like a primary.
...but that's just guessing.. -

Should release on their usual patch days (Tuesday for US and Wednesday for EU).Quote from stevemunoz»
Does the patch release on 3/31 with the new season, or will it come out before the new season starts?
This might be the coming week or the week after (just before season 10 start). I'm more inclined to say it's gonna be the week the season starts. -

"Gargantuan Mechanics" ?
Really?
They have no "mechanics". They either attack (with great force) or stand around looking at you/your pets getting slaughtered.
They tried fixing their pathing/non-attacking, but it's still happening. It has happened enough to me, that the damage boost they would otherwise give, gets diminished massively. You're lucky if you haven't run into this at all - that happens as well.
They work superbly, on paper - but in reality they aren't as effective as they should be.
Edit:
To clarify; I say "they" because of the new ring which splits 1 Gargantuan into 3... -

Now they just need to take a look at bows/crossbows, compared to melee weapons.
The damage gap on the weapons is massive!
I'm guessing everyone has this or that it's some kind of bug that doesn't show up for everyone.
I had my BS at level 10 - highest the bows/crossbows I was able to craft at the highest, were at 150-280 base dmg (approximately) from the BS list (obviously when craft, that value would end up higher). Melee weapons were listed at 800-980 base dmg from the same list. That just doesn't seem right, at all.
Either it's a bug or they totally forgot some code somewhere..
TL:DR:
"Level 60" melee weapons were/are showing up way stronger than ranged weapons. -

....but doesn't "end-game" mechanics require you to do something in specific steps? I.e.: doing a serious of attacks that "combo" great together with gear and such (also a "mechanic" of the game), to get absolute max out of what you're trying to do.
I don't really see how that was a clarification of any kind (how you describe it) o.O
It kinda just describes kinda broad, how everything that requires specific steps, is then an exploit.
Nevalistis is talking about bugs - how you, with specific steps, can abuse those to your advantage, which then makes it exploitation of a bug.
Any kind of abuse, in regards to bugs (something unintended), is per definition an exploit. Everyone should know that per default.
I kinda feel like you need to revise that line you wrote, so it actually describes it in terms of using specifics steps with bugs.
..as Nevalistis clearly states
Other than that;

Necro would be a good bet. It's a "top DPS" class for sure. Was all of the last season as well.
There's always a use for that class, no matter the amount of players. Heck, you could even go support Necro, if you feel so inclined.
0
...But on another note:
Something seems fishy about all this. lol
Guessing a bought high Paragon account, since nobody would get to 2K Paragon and not know this very simple thing..
0
There's no nerf on those.
As Kallizk mentioned; the more players are in the game (possibly even in the same area), the more parts they separate into and the more loot you end up getting in the end.
0
The Inarius nerf seems a bit weird - Bluddshed had a Dev say the frequent interaction with the gems was intended, just a day before the nerf got announced o.O
Oh well.. Ain't the first time they've changed their minds, over a short period of time.

Just wait for the release of the Necro (in a few days).
Many will start running leveling test runs (myself included), to see what works and how efficient it'll be.
These 'starter guides' will start popping up left, right and center, when everyone gets their hands on the Necro. Pick one you like or don't - it's not like the difference will be very big at all
There's usually 5-10 of these guides, along with a TON of threads and videos stating that X,Y,Z is the best way and such.

If you keep moving, in the area your friend is in; you'll keep your follower - most of the time, at least..
That's been a thing for some time now - I recall a friend reporting it on their bug forum a year back or something like that.
As soon as you stop moving (and the follower catches up to you), it'll pop up and tell you that he/she is getting dismissed.

Since more and more Streams are getting focus (Which is great) in various news posts on this site; could we please get them as something that doesn't just autoplay?
Clips and such, don't autoplay - but when a stream is embedded directly (stream link directly), it just fires up if the stream is active.
Nothing worse than some random stream (or just a video) just starting on it's own - I dislike this on ANY site that does this, and I'm sure I'm far from alone on that.
I don't get why that was even made a thing.

I'm not faking anything (Sadly - if someone was to fake something like that, they would probably have stated they had way more usable Primals...). I've only really gotten shit items so far and the ones I could use, wasn't a big upgrade (as stated).
Sadly I haven't saved them all (seeing as there is really no reason to), but I do have something like 6 or 8 in my stash still and 1 equipped (Tal headpiece).
4 of the Primals I've gotten, have actually been from the Bounty caches. 2 of which was the Act 1 mace (..so nothing worth using at all).
First 2 Primals I got, was both from the Blackthorne set (really hope that gets re-made into a Necromancer set...). As said; nothing worth saving.
You're acting like it's a big fucking deal, with the Primals - it's mostly a small upgrade on your gear if you already have mostly ancient (except weapons, where it could be a big upgrade in some cases). I think I got 20-30 more Int on my headpiece, along with maybe 70-100 more Vit. Sure; that's a fair bit of Vit, but it's not something to jump up and down like crazy about..
I'm nowhere near 'over the moon' when a Primal drops for me and it's some gear piece - if it's a weapon; I might get a little excited, if it's just a little bit usable for something.
0
Passed 20 Primals since season start. Only got 2-3 usable items for the builds I'm doing though. 1 wasn't even really an upgrade, aside from the higher secondary resistance.
Haven't played much, the last week or so. Got to P87x or something like that and took a break.
The 2 guys I play with, have gotten between 4 and 7 that I know of, each.
As with pretty much anything in this game; RNG.

Gather a ton of mats - craft/re-roll everything you need - if nothing is good; do a rollback to before you did said thing, and do it again. At least that's how it was explained on Reddit - might be a little different than what I explained here - but it's the general idea of it.
It's sadly been a thing for some time now. Blizzard is making money on it, so that's at least something - but it's a bit of an exploit imo..
0
To be fair, it's a minor patch update, after 2.5 - if we it's 2.5.1
That's not a number that we'll see any content in (usually). Those come out like with this one in the version numbers X.Y (2.5), not X.Y.Z
0
During the last BlizzCon, they slipped a potential release (Think it was Wyatt that mentioned it to Anthony - BigDaddyDen), which was around June/July. There's no indication that it'll stick to that, but that's what's know about it, this far.
The Necromancer DLC, will bring the game to version 3.0, due to the additions to the game (According to Blizzard themselves).

Afaik DarkD3 hooks into DX9.
64Bit Client uses D11.
Besides that; DarkD3 was 'discontinued' a long time ago. The author stopped supporting it, as it was 'borderline against ToS' (3rd party injector). Don't expect a 64bit/DX11 version of DarkD3, unless from someone else entirely.

It is a QoL-change in the sense that it frees up the need to make several characters, just to make build-swapping easier. It pretty much makes any kind of gear-swapping easy.
It changes nothing in regards to how you store your loot - it's not supposed to do anything in that regard - simply just make it easier to manage builds.
0
You write that you updated the software - but did you update the firmware (as patch notes specify that would be needed in order for it to function properly) ?
Besides - '2.4.3 is live and a broken mess' because of this one thing that you show, is going a bit overboard, isn't it
I can see how it's very annoying though.
