I don't use DS. Maybe it's because I haven't disposed of my legacy Innas Pants yet. I'm constantly at 24% ms and I get around just fine.
Yeh, I guess to root cause here is that I had the 24% + TR bonus. Now the 24% feels like the Monk class had been available in Diablo 1 :)

dashing strike is addictive as fuck now doubt but my monk i went on a nice build life per second i got mantra of healing sustance which gicves 1600 + another % from your current life per second i added water ally that gives antoher 826 life per second and i got the rodnal rough stone ring that gives 650 life per second and 88% based on your missing life and inner sancturary with the first rune that gives more life per second im regenerating 5800 life per sec without inner and missing life and i can face tank the crap out of elites torment 4 and im having a great time with only 23% ms with no dashing strike its kinda hard getting used to it but it was worth it
Yeh, sounds fun to say the least :) If I can get rid of this "xp/legenaries per hour" thinking, I'd surely give it a try. Sad to admit though, the game has recently pushed me in that narrow space where the only things that matter are the above mentioned ratios. Diablo: "Farming faster to be able to farm faster until faceroll T6" I guess that pretty much sums up the lifecycle of this game for me :)

Maybe I just need to gather my friends in a group and have a couple of beers. Then have the "more dmg per spirit generator usage" passive, put on all generators, dmg aura+owe and start pushing those Bells :)

    Hi All,

Just wanted to share my thoughts on 2.0 builds I've seen and the notification that I haven't seen DS in many of them. It could be just personal reference but with the TR change (Movement speed is not increased above the 25% cap, which pretty much killed my enjoyment for the whole build), my Monk just felt utterly slow getting from A to B. DS (with WotFS) works above the 25% cap and currently I am having hard time leaving it out in builds I've been testing.

What do you think? Am I overvaluing this skill? I guess the pinpoint questions is: Can you effectively grind through mobs equally fast (or faster) without DS? I like challenge so I've been doing T3 runs with my somewhat under-geared monk and avoiding those poison pits, lasers and ice traps is the #1 thing to keep you monk happy (Druin ^^) and healthy.

It also seems to go well with the way the game is being aligned in doing more meaningful decisions (both in skills and in gameplay). DS gives me the tool to position myself correctly for battles and advance from battle to battle. Setup wise, I'd like to add that DS + CS is pretty much being the baseline for the sheer joy of lighting fast trans-location and instant mob gathering.
