Yeah. Congrats!
What a terribly unflattering interview though. Hes not as good at interviews as he is at playing games 14 hours a day.

1. It is not a let down, it is an intro to a story, not a "I'm the next bad guy listhen to me talk about destruction" cinematic like WoW, There cinematics are good, but they tell no story at all.
2. Yes
3. I will admit Black Soulstone was very good, however that is most likely the into for Act 2 or 3, which again is telling a story and you know what you have to do by the end of it.
4. really? child.
1. Whether or not it was a letdown is subjective, you can't tell me I wasn't expecting something different.
2. That was rhetorical, implying that everyone knew that the cinematic was coming, and it was hyped up for nothing
3. I'm not sure what to say to this, yeah... it's telling a story, just like almost all cinematics do. And it did it with a way sweeter video than this one did.
4. Calling me a child makes you sound extremely, well... immature. You took the time to half-ass pick apart my feelings on the video, and then ran out of cheap stabs by the 4th subjective point I made. Good work. -
Dec 11, 2011Brake Failure posted a message on Diablo 3 Opening CinematicI'll be honest and say that I was pretty schwasty when I watched the cinematic last night, and posted my original "letdown" feelings. Having re-watched it now at least mostly sober, here are my feelings.Posted in: News
1. Still a letdown
2. Was that really the reveal that Blizz was talking about?
3. Not as good as any of the WoW cinematics, and nowhere near as good as the black soulstone.
4. What a letdown... - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Yeah. I know my life is low. I'm finding hard to get more without sacrificing too much DPS. Also, my babe is just for fun. I don't care much about him right now.

Long story short, what do you guys think it will take from my current gear to get into mp10 efficiently?
Armory link is signature, and thanks ahead of time for the input.

I also remember doing endless Baal/Cow/Diablo runs in D2 and still having fun, but being bored at the same time.
They have spent a lot of time making the game about running whole acts at once, but I really feel that more emphasis in endgame should be about killing bosses.
I know that killing ubers is a thing, but I have found the challenge to be frustrating and less than appeasing enough to run them over and over as I did in EQ, Diablo 2 and WoW...
They put all that time into scripting fun boss fights... You know... Remember when you killed the Butcher on your first character after release. It was fun as fuck. Why not make it lucrative as well?
I'm not saying make bot runs to bosses a thing, but why not make bosses drop shit worth your time? The whole "bosses drop the best gear in the game most frequently" model has been exceedingly successful for a long time, and I for one wouldn't mind seeing it make an appearance in Diablo again.
Thoughts?

A LS weapon was one of the best investments I've made for surviveability... In fact, it was hands down the best.

Yeah... I was super drunk when I posted that. I guess my true feelings really come out when I've been drinking though.
Also, thanks for the sweet swear / punctuation count.

That however, seems like either an extreme exaggeration. Either that, or something is indeed wrong.

Ideas like these are what need to be going through the devs heads.

I've got a paragon / farming wiz, I just want a barb for ubers. Budget isn't much of an issue, so don't let that influence you.
Thanks guys

My question is this. As a monk, can I efficiently solo mp7-8 ubers with a high leech build? I;ve got enough gold to buy the gear I need, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Can anyone that's clearing ubers efficiently possibly link me their armory? Link to a build thread that's similar to what I'm describing here?
As I said, I like the idea of a high life leech build so that would be preferable.
Thanks guys.
*edit* change title to LIFE leech build.
