I really don't get what are we supposed to do then. Afaik Blizzard themselves admitted there are gonna be a little OP builds and IT'S FINE, the fun is to actually find then and use them properly. Now they treat it just like exploits and hotfixing them.
Because being practically invulnerable and being able to permastun bosses isn't an exploit? Before anyone says clever use of game mechanics, it's an unintended game mechanic which makes it an exploit

Dude, what me and my friends are able to do right now because of that ability isn't a "little" op, it's plain broken.
IMO, that's perfectly fine. FA was completelly broken => fixed. CM + chain AOE stuns broken just as well => should be fixed. Blizz are doing the right thing when removing these dirty exploits.
As for Venom Hydra - it's terribly OP against slow targets so I'm 100% sure Blizz will remove the venom pools stacking. And just like with all other nerfs I don't give a shit if it'll be nerfed, since I avoid exploiting. Anyway, in Inferno Arcane Hydra + Temporal Flux = way better for smoother kiting.
I don't understand all the complains, what did you expect? This happens with every new game after release, they need to balance those overpowered spells or otherwise there is no build diversity.
When Diablo 2 came out a lot of things get nerfed and you could not even change your build! So a lot of people got stuck with bad abilities.
Second other classes are getting nerfed/balanced too. It's not wizard only.
Venom hydra is fine it's hardly op it just deals good damage if you can kite/keep the mobs standing still which is harder said than done with fast mobs in inferno
That's why I think Blizz will remove venom pools stacking. It will not affect fighting fast elites and will make it less OP against stationary/slow targets (Belial P2 cries rivers when sees Venom Hydra).
Next nerf is Venom hydro doing 50% of dmg, and blizzard will no longer slowing effect, our dmg ouput will be 50% nerf because kiting champion for 20 mins isnt hard

This might be naive optimism, but I'm going to stick my neck out and say I don't think Blizz will nerf venom hydra. The reason being that it's not an abusive game mechanic, its just really good dmg. There's no cheese tactics in play such as infinite stuns. If they're going to nerf abilities based solely on dmg potential, then they certainly have better targets than VH (hello, zombie bears anyone?)
well this is very frustrating to me. The people that abused FA or CM before it was nerfed are now geared and currently able to survive/farm act 3/4 inferno, while the people who didn't can barely make it through act 2. Now these abusers control the economy etc.

Bingo. If they do anything, it'll be the venom pool stacking. Without that, Venom Hydra is fine. It's when a critter is standing in a stack of pools when they die super quick....
Of course with that logic, they shouldn't allow stacking of desecration/mortars/etc from enemy monsters, hmmmm...
They are going to hotfix any skills that are too much of a "must have" and rebalance those skills and other skills during their big balance patch on the development schduele.

So you're telling me that every single Critical Mass build relied on the Frost Nova bug for their procs? Nobody actually used a legitimate build?
Force Armor is different in my opinion - people found an unforeseen use and used it and Blizzard -nerfed- because they didn't like that use. The tooltip on Force Armor was working as intended and now they have to change it. That's a nerf.
Critical Mass + Frost Nova with Deep Freeze providing a bugged amount of procs is a bug. The tooltip on these abilities did not mention that interaction. That's not a nerf.

Over the 4 nerfs that blizzard rolled out I took 3 of them right in the face =)
I'm only getting tired to have to rethink my itemization/spell every single day.
So I'll just level every classes to 60 stop to play, and wait for the bug fixes/buff.
I like to exploit my toys but I don't want someone else to break them!
same for me, 3x big slap in the face and 20 000 000 gold wasted that Ill never had again because the gear sucks now.
