Anything posted on AH will usually get you more than what you can here because 1) people on these forums tend to know the actual value of an item 2) much smaller pool of buyers for your item on forums 3) forum posters are cheap and likely just want to buy your item to resell

4) People like the OP never list a minimum price (but they sure do on the AH!) and then whine when someone offers them a price that's lower than what they wanted.
It'd be like a grocery store having no price tags on their items, and then being upset when someone offers them 50 cents for a gallon of milk.
List minimum prices or stop complaining (and yeah, if someone offers that minimum, you need to sell to them or your credibility around here goes to zero).
I never have anyone buy stuff from here, but it sells ingame.
The shield I put up best bid here i got was 1m and solid it in the AH for 3.75m.
Numerous times ive posted stuff here, get super-low balled and then post it on the AH and sells for 2x-3x what I am offered here.
Dunno if I should bother using this forum or not...
i completely agree. and as a bidder, even when you post a BIN, the OP mysteriously disappears, never to be heard from again. to be honest, though, the same can be said of all the other d3 trading forums (d2jsp, for example). i don't think anyone has been keeping up with the crazy inflation in the auction house atm.the gold auction house is probably over 3x the value of items here. i don't know if it's all the gold selling or what, but i've been keeping a very close watch over the in game gold auction house for the past week, and prices for the same item are literally increasing by the day. my advice for anyone with a truly good item is to sell it on the RMAH. i have a feeling that gold sellers themselves are now buying items for gold on the AH and reselling. at least the rmah should be inflation proof.

I guess I only will check incase that "rare" combo of items I want shows up here. Since D3's ingame search AH is so limited and time consuming.
