How long will it take to beat the game
There are two big variables that prevent me from being able to estimate how long it takes me to play through the end of Normal difficulty: time spent maximizing my character's effectiveness (standing around looking at gear, switching out followers and bringing them up to speed, etc.) and time spent playing with crafting/auctioning (leveling up the blacksmith, looking at what he can craft, selling and buying items, etc.)
And in the higher difficulties, those variables can expand dramatically. (Blue Tacker / Official Forums)
Enemy Difficulty
The enemies are indeed a bit more difficult in Normal difficulty now.
Unofficial Patch 15 Changes and Moderator Recruitment
In case you missed it. Make sure to check out all the changes in patch 15. Such as new AH search strings, Nephalem Valor resetting when skills are switched, class changes and more. Also don't forget we are still taking applications for new Moderators!
Beta Screenshots
In the first picture we have the Monk using a new ability that first showed up in patch 13, Tempest Rush. Next we have the Monk again using a new version (thanks to runes) of Fists of Thunder known as Bounding Light. The yellow lighting bolt now has a chance to form and strike multiple enemies. In the last picture we have the Wizard using another ability added to the beta (level requirement lowered) called Arcane Torrent.
Curse Gaming Bracket Challenge
Round four of the Curse Gaming Bracket Challenge has started! Make sure to vote for your favorite D3 characters as Diablo takes on Tyrael, and Mephisto takes on Kerrigan.
And tbh I plan on rolling a Monk, Tempest Rush is a good skill but I'm not a big fan of the channel bit. I can see that could be a probably with packs that don't get in line with the rush and mess everything up ... wasted spirit!

yeah, at least in beta, it seems like its only good for getting out of being surrounded by mobs, as it allows you to walk right through them while doing damage. Ill have to wait till it gets more runes, HOWEVER, the rune that allows it to take less spirit makes it a lot nicer
I've tried out Tempest Rush in the beta, and I have to agree with Molster. All it basically does is enable you to get out of a tight spot. The damage is so weak to the point of not justifying it as a main Spirit Spender until you unlock Northern Breeze (rune that lowers the cost).
Also, I was a bit dismayed at having to choose between Diablo and Tyrael so soon. I agonized over it for a few minutes before deciding that as much fun as Diablo can be, Tyrael is such an all-around awesome good guy that I couldn't vote against the angel. Sorry, Big D.
Why does the monk run around with his weapons out but the second he attacks they are put away? I understand they didn't complete the weapon animations, but what's the point of having the weapons be out? Just let them hang on his sides or back and it would look a lot more seamless than teleporting out of his hands every 2 seconds.
Sure, he does! He is requried to stand on his left leg while writing the news updates and once he is done his reward is to switch to standing on his right leg and we cease with the whipping (when we feel like it)... That's the very definition of appreciation, if you don't call that appreciation I don't know what is...
WHOOPISH!!
Sorry... I left you out. Dont take it personal You do an awsome job as well!!
I'm not taking it personal Well, good thing Molester is around cuz I'm on lazy mode as of late and education is demanding But I thought it was important to reveal the some essential parts of the backstage working process.

Though if that was the last poll, I would have picked tyrael, the fact is, diablo has a better chance of winning agianst the silly minecraft characters, so voted for him
it bugs me that Blizzard can't give a straight answer of how long it take to beat the game -.-
Yea although I'm guessing if you plan on rushing through probably no more than 20 hours if that. Me and my friends are doing a run from launch till whenever we beat normal no stopping, so we'll see how that goes. Hoping for 24 hours or less
The monk looks so boring. Show a video of WD soul harvest/direbats combo in comparison. It's a totally different game. The difference in the level of destruction is mind boggling.

Hey, now...
They're all meant to be different. Some like one play-style, for others, another. Anyway, I'm certain there'll be a WD video soon, if the griping I saw from Molster last night while playing beside Apoc is any hint.

It looks like the responses in this thread are unanimously in-favor. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

I voted in the Curse bracket as well.

Talent Calculators are not up to date since the changes of patch 14, we need to prepare new builds for release
