no. sorry. gah, ive been not online for 4 days in the forums, and i missed 6 pages. jesus. honestly, im kinda sick of 6 pages of useless posts. like this post. its not even really about the damned subject. its a RESPONSE to it, which is taking so much space here.
Blizzplanet had a news item up for a few minutes last night that speculated the leak of a BlizzCon game announcement. It told how Medievaldragon had a source from "inside" that leaked the true codename of Diablo III, and that it would be unveiled at BlizzCon. I contacted Medievaldragon with some concerns and information and within ten minutes, the page long article dissapeared.
Odd. The article was named: "The BlizzCon Annoucement Leak" or something around those lines.
Yes, well, I can't tell what I would relish more, being the keeper of such a great secret, or allowing myself the pleasure of telling a single person whom I know would appreciate it.
I don't wanna be the guy to piss on the party but wasn't the gamingsteve.com article roundly rejected when it surfaced as a fabrication?
The ideas are cool, but I remember somebody debunking its credibility.
Also, does anyone have a copy of the article over at blizzplanet saved they can post or link to? Just curious as to what it really said and why it was deemed "sensitive" material by the poster.
omg im so excited im going on vaction on the first day of blizzcon im going on vaction, coincedence i dont think so i wish i was vactioning in calafornia but i have to go to wisconsin but still i cant wait for both.
Has ne one seen the pictures on my sig pic before???? I got them off of a German WoW site (i typed in DiabloIII.de and it redirected me here) from a thread talking about Blizzcon. The thread talks about uncovering music sheets for unnanounced Blizzcon music called "Northrend."
This is what the site says:
"The WoW insider reports now, one learned of an anonymous postal service that the video Games live orchestra, which will play on the termination concert of the BlizzCon, received its note leaves for the show. Under these leaves, three new, previously yet unknown music pieces are found by the name of ' 'Northrend 1, 2 and 3'', which points out the presentation at the weekend." -- http://wow.gamona.de/index.php?unid=11466
They also mention Diablo 3 in the newsbreak, but it is way to choppy for me to understand... something about the siege of Harragoth and a "frozen stone."
Any way, the images on the far left and far right are definitely from Diablo, but I've never seen the picture in the middle... Is it from WoW??

Medievaldragon: "The person who contacted me within less than 12 hours before the Starcraft 2 announcement, told me what Medusa meant. IGN had mentioned they saw a Medusa Demo listed in the WWI itinerary page."
"I posted the news, and this person contacted me."
"He told me Medusa was the codename of Team 1 (RTS). Although, I was partial in believing the source, 12 hours later it turned out it was indeed Starcraft 2."
"The news is exciting and to be sincere even tempting. However, I have never been the type of hyping by leaking info or illegal content extracted from the MPQ."
"I try to play by the rules."
"Blizzplanet is a member of the Blizzard Fansite Program. And I will rather behave in a good way, as we have a good long standing with Blizzard."
"On the other hand, I can never forget Blizzard has given us 100 Closed Beta keys to giveaway to fans. Should I be tempted in revealing top secret stuff for hits, and throw down the drain the opportunity of getting fans into future Closed Beta? Should I be that selfish?"
"I'm still tempted, but I think fans deserve better."
"I know the two remaining codenames -- that assuming the contact is legit."
"All I can say is Blizzard is announcing two games at BlizzCon. One is an expansion and another one is a Diablo game."
"Note I am not revealing anything that hasn't been already said before."
"1. Blizzard said a year ago they plan to ship a yearly expansion."
"2. There has been job openings specifying "Diablo"
"All attempts to extract additional information were understandably met with looks of shock and horror from Blizzard's director of global public relations, who also attended the meeting." - Priceless how they wrote it lmao.
