I don't think I've ever had any issues, at least. I had the same version of Hamachi on my compy for eons (I was using it with a friend to play AoEII) and started using it with the ES gang a little bit when it was bigger on here. I'm going to guess that they didn't all have the same version as me.
I mean, yeah, if you use a really, really old version, there will probably be glitches that got ironed out in later versions, but I think it should work fine...
Dunno. I'm not a techie
The best approach would probably be to just get the latest stable version. That's normally what people want to use, so it should be what most other people have. ("Want to update Hamachi?" "Heck yes!")
As far as I know, it doesn't matter what version of Hamachi you use since the function you need to use is just connecting to other peoples' computers through LAN. So I don't think it matters. I don't see why you shouldn't get the latest version of Hamachi, though, besides that.
Okay, I got some massive error, and then my game crashed, and then I was unable to start it again, even after restarting my computer, so I unloaded it and just started an account with the new ladder on US East.
Archie -- do you have Ancient Scroll #2? (its recipe allows you to convert a magical item into a white item).
So if you've found a magical demonic scythe...
I found the scroll yesterday, if you think you can use it...

Does that answer it? Kinda?
I think I have one.
And what version should I use?
