That eating less is gonna suck. I eat more than 3 of my friends combined. I hope my metabolism doesn't slow down anytime soon. Thanks for the input.
your technically eating more or the same amount, your just spreading it out more instead of gorging it all down at once. it takes control and motivation to get thin and become fit, you NEED to set specific goals or else you will quit, everytime.

There was a trainer at my gym that said every once in awhile you should do 20 reps of every group of muscle and use less weight. And do all muscle groups in one day. Have you heard of this?
Another thing is, what is the best way to lose that little bit of fat on your stomach? I can feel my six pack in there, but the fat is blocking them from site lol.
as far as gaining muscle mass in the most effecient way doing all muscle groups in one day is always a bad idea. keep them sepparate, if you make all of your muscles sore you cant work them out so you want to constantly rotate using them so your not doing nothing for days waiting for your muscles to heal.
diet and high intensity cardio will help you lose that last bit of fat. mostly diet. eat 6 small healthy meals a day and never eat <2 hours before bed. never over eat or eat till your full. when you do the cardio switch off between jogging long distance and short sprints every other day. for most people getting (and keeping) a six pack is extremely hard so you have to constantly watch what you eat, unless your 18 and already have a six pack you wont get their by eating pizza and fast food.

Don't want to read through all 7 pages to see if this has been mentioned yet, but I thought I would let people know that Jack3d can cause temporary ED as well, aka "stimdick", as it has 1,3-dimethylwhatever in it as well. If anyone is having issues "downtown" since they've started taking it, stopping will most certainly fix the issue.
I've been drinking a cup of coffee or two about 30 mins before workouts and it does the job. Tastes better too =P
i stopped taking Jack3D as well because it gave me the shakes real bad. and NOxplode is very common with the ED side effect as well. scary lol

really? so i should listen to the ignorant trolls that roam the forums? that makes sense. lol. i said theres too many trolls/flamers to actually get to the good info so its pointless.
Have you ever even visited any? Because trolls and flamers dont really go to bodybuilding forums ^.-. They go to gaming forums like mmo-champ :D. Bodybuilding forums are usually visited by people who are interested in that. And it is up to you who you chose to listen to, but you prefer to listen to no one.
And by the way, most of your exercises in beginners guide are compound exercises not isolation. You should try doing pull downs right after you did bicep curls to failure, you wont be able to move it , theres no 80-90% back.
My suggestion is that you just call it a day here. In WishedHeHadBeta's world, there is no grey. It's all black and white, and from what is easily seen on this forum, he's always right and anyone who thinks differently is wrong. Not because of empirical proof that he provides (he never does), but simply because he knows better. Like many other threads, it's to the point where he's just sticking a couple fingers in his ears, closing his eyes, and yelling "la la la la" at the top of his lungs because he refuses to listen to reason, logic, common sense, whatever. It's not worth it.

Exactly, i never said its best, or better than what you do.
In fact its what you said yourself in the OP, but it doesnt sound like you meant it :
Everyone should form their OWN work out for whats right for you, there is no such thing as a magical routine that trumps the rest
_____
body building forums is like youtube. or even like the blizz forums, its pointless. far too many trolls and misinformed ignorants to get anything out of it.
No offense, but honestly, if you refuse to listen to anyone on forums, why should anyone listen to you, things like that are 2-way street. Sounds like convincing you of anything is like trying to convince a christian that god doesnt exist.
the routine im referring to is what exercises you do and when, not what type of work out (as in HIT or 5x5 or isolation) your doing. lol. i just re-worded it for you.

that quote you gave just seems to good to be true, which is another reason i doubt it. increasing your weight/reps THREE times for all of your muscles in one week?
Well, like i said take it with a grain of salt, maybe it means you can attempt to lift more or doing extra rep, even if you can't or it's on weekly basis, which is what i did.
And look grandpa, you said it yourself that online communication is the way to go, in addition to what you do you could lurk a little on weightlifting/bodybuilding forums you know? or even post? You can see opinions of much wider audience of much wider variety of people, from various regions. Just like you I know people who do HIT, and I'm from Europe.
And really, you interviewed every person who goes to your gym? Oh... whatever.
huh? i interviewed? i said i met tons of people going to the gym for many years. i never said i interviewed them. what else are people gonna talk about at the gym while lifting? talk about lifting, lol.

and the way you word things it sounds like you honestly havent tried it, or tried it for long enough or even worked out for that long. well maybe europe HIT is a lot more popular, because as far as california, nevada, washington, new york, florida, arizona and virginia i havent seen not one person doing anything like that in any of the gyms ive been to across those states. it sounds more like a fad type work out, like the p90x or insanity. sure theres a shit load of people doing it and tons of testimonials on how "godly" it is, doesnt mean its the BEST way to get in shape.

you REALLY need to get off the ballsack of the HIT work outs. lol. have you ever done it yourself? and if you have, have you ever tried any other work outs for a few months to test to see if its more or less effective?
Honestly, yes. I didnt see much difference in gains, it was non difinitive but it upped my endurance and it was more flexible, because its not a big deal if i miss one day.
is this past tense? as in you dont currently work out anymore? also how many months did you test both?
that quote you gave just seems to good to be true, which is another reason i doubt it. increasing your weight/reps THREE times for all of your muscles in one week? ya thats pretty much impossible to make gains like that without the use of steroids. i make decent gains every 3 weeks. now if its increasing it by 1 rep or by a couple pounds then ok but what i consider a "decent gain" is say your doing dips, and you go up and up in weight to failure and you can do it with 1 45 strapped to your waist twice, 2-3 weeks later of training a decent gain would be able to do it twice as many times or more or also be able to go up 10 more pounds or more for a couple reps. so every 6 weeks you see big gains, like you can do the 45 now with ease and add a 25 lb weight for a few reps also.

ive met hundreds of body builders (professional and hobbiest) and none of them used HIT
Dont you think you are exaggerating a little bit?
I dont wana bring up article point, but really there are many people who have shared their experiences while doing HIT and had gains, and theres pretty scientific evidence and logic. When a lot of people do that all over the world, its comparable, and it isn't 'proven' to be 'much less effective', yes probably some who have used hit will say they had slightly lesser gains than with split routine etc, and some will say the opposite, some say its personal preference. Or they will weigh the advantages of each thing.
And you werent just saying HIT is less effective, you were pretty much saying ineffective for mass gain, cause you couldn't wrap your head around the fact you can work all muscle groups throughout the week, each one of them on every workout and still get good gains.
Here is one of many descriptions on hit, take it with grain of salt:
HIT calls for the trainer to workout 1-3 times a week with full body single-set routines. These are to be short but very intense workouts. The basic prescription is 8-12 reps per set always done to failure. Each and every workout is expected to produce an increase in strength so that when performing your next workout you should either look to perform more reps with the same weight or the same number of reps with a greater weight.
not even overexaggerating a tiny bit. when you go to the gym THOUSANDS of times, and yes i do mean thousands. 5-6 days a week for 10+ years id say ive been to the gym (god its been so long) over 3 thousand times. lol, jesus. and when you go you meet a lot of people, ive been to dozens and dozens of different gyms in different area's that ive moved also.
you REALLY need to get off the ballsack of the HIT work outs. lol. have you ever done it yourself? and if you have, have you ever tried any other work outs for a few months to test to see if its more or less effective?

So Firehart, what do you not agree with. Because I'm not trying to say its better, and everyone should do it. What I am saying is that HIT can be just as viable option, type of routine for building muscle mass, that can produce competitive gains with other routines, with its own advantages and disadvantages.
i never said "HIT is bad" i said its simply less effective then isolation. that is all. ANY type of work out increases muscle, because your working them out. but full body work outs arent as effective, ive met hundreds of body builders (professional and hobbiest) and none of them used HIT or anything close. 90% of them used isolation like i do a long with the other tips about lifting i gave. like i said before, go to your local body builders gym (usually golds) and watch the uber huge guys. the majority of the rest of the world, the "wannabe's" work out incorrectly and it makes me /facepalm whenever i see them in the gym with their cut off shirts flailing weight around.
@Wishedhehadbeta
Even if I don't agree with Frozenkex about HIT, I do not agree with you either. It is like like he said in his post (#120).
This is a forum, it is not your personal blog that is under your domain. Your word isn't the law and you shouldn't make others think that is.
What others have commended you for have been the basics and common sense. Its found through experience or any sticky on a bodybuilder forum.
You seem quite active (at least on the D3 forum), therefor I would assume you should be active on a bodybuilder forum as well. Just like anything else you do nowadays, there is new information to be found and much to learn from others, but also to share what you love doing. You need to be open minded for that but you seem to have decided what works and what not. Small derailing there, question I was going for was, which forum is that?
Also, you are so set on what works for you and not the rest. Like I said at the top, you have no deadlift in your beginners guide. You have one squat session for a 2 weeks schedule.
You might be too advanced for your own good.
As a beginner, you want to feel like you've completed a workout.
Just like DieHardBastion said
its the first two weeks. obviously you dont repeat those exact work outs every week, repeating work outs is NEVER good, i say multiple times that changing up your work outs is THE best way to work your muscles so they dont adapt. doing squats/deadlifts every week also isnt effective VS. switching it up. theres dozens of leg work outs to rotate each week, people who go "omfg SQUATS ALL DAY BRO" are idiots. because making your legs adapt to squats or any work out is the opposite of what you should do. (not saying your one of those)
also sadly everything ive said here is 100% truth and far more effective then ANYTHING you would find on the internet, now you can take it with a grain of salt and test it for yourself against other work outs(like i have), but i guarantee mine will always win. (for gaining muscle/str). i posted this specifcally because the majority of the work out world is so misinformed, and thought id share with a few on here. body builder forums are like posting on youtube, anything you post you get super flamed/trolled by a million people. so for the few people on here that read it they can enjoy the knowledge that ive gathered. take it or leave it, i dont really care. all i say is test it for yourself before you start quoting BS articles(like some people did). peoples bodies may be different in size and shape and you have your own personal strengths and weaknesses, but muscle is muscle. no ones muscle is "different" then someone elses in the way that a work out would reacts completely differently for two people like HIT would gain tons of mass for one guy and the other guy doesnt, if it works it works for everyone that does it correctly, it may not work as FAST as the other guy because hes more naturally athletic, but it would work for both of them IF in fact it worked. thats like saying someones liver reacts completely differently to alcohol abuse. its still poisoning it regardless if one gets a disease from it first or one of them dies first. there both eventually going to be at the same outcome, need new livers.

I dont really know what to say to you.
You do realize most articles are independently written just like your post, its their experience and training that is relayed just like yours. Its as if 99% of the people who are bodybuilders and happen to write articles are suddenly all liars and writing bullshit, and there you go - you are the real deal here on diablo forums.
ive taken a lot of those articles written by those body builders and tested them (besides HIT i knew that wasnt going anywhere, 6-8 reps of a SINGLE exercise without gradually increasing in weight each day and using muscle groups 3 times a week? ya you dont have to be a genius to know thats BS and isnt the most effective way to gain anything) and proved that what they are doing is not the BEST possible way to gain strength/size and i figured out that isolation days is THE best way by far. THATS what makes me so different then the rest of them.

I didn't count 'muscle recovery for 1 day' as sore for me, more like 5 hurting is sore, and i admit i might be completely incorrect about soreness. But again you do realize you are just picking at semantics, which is much less relevant.
its like this. how can you possibly know anything at the advanced level if you dont even know the basic of basics? you cant. reading articles doesnt make you an expert, it makes you an article reader. like i said in my first 2 paragraphs of my OP. personal experience and experimenting weeds out the bull shit articles that arent true, because there are many. even super main stream articles/work outs are completely false. the mass majority of people in the world work out improperly and THINK they are doing it right, which is the sad truth.

over how u dont get sore anymore. the fact that you suddenly change your story to "no now i mean not as sore" makes you seem even more retarded.
No it does not, it shows I can admit a slight mistake, which occurred because i simply misunderstood what "sore" meant to you. Still, myself not being from US, I do make more sense.
And now youre just ranting, because i ripped your posts apart. You pretty much ignored every valid point i offered you. Articles are not 100% right, but there are hundreds of them, and written by many more credible people than you, who arent cochopops and junk food eaters, that are just interested in being a big lump of meat.
I dont know what you believe, but most people who are even remotely interested in weightlifting, they want to be healthier, sex themselves up ( you know look better), and feel better about their body, and in most cases they also wish they could get a six pack. Your post offers none of that, no one is interested in being a useless hump of meat, which I'm not saying you are, but sure sounds like it. Also you sound like you are 60, since you tested everything out properly, while having your progress documented by a scientist.
I suppose in your defense, a post about weightlifting no matter how bad it is, is better than no post about it at all? And it sparked some intelligent discussion between posters, more intelligent than your own posts though.

Well I'm sorry i tried to give you constructive criticism, but since you cant even read your own posts for mistakes, you obviously have trouble reading of.. no, just reading in general, I can't help but just break it to you...
read many articles/studies and confer with a lot of different body builders like i have to come to an educated conclusion on whats right and wrong.
See I've done that, and you have not. See the problem there? Your conclusions are not educated, and are baseless.
I'm really quite curious what was your agenda with the post. If you really care about what you're saying in the OP, you should share your thoughts and opinions on a real weightlifting forum, doesn't really matter which. You might even actually get better feedback than I've given to you, but most likely ridiculed, who knows?
like i said. your "constructive criticism" or any knowledge you THINK you have of weight lifting started and ended with you flaming over how u dont get sore anymore. the fact that you suddenly change your story to "no now i mean not as sore" makes you seem even more retarded.
