One of my friends bought it ... I have to say he's not a gamer but when he started playing 0_0 5 hours straight, he looked like a zombie after but still .
hahahhahahahahah I didn't see that :). LOL! we can see that they hate the game with true passion! Must be a bunch of kids complaining about something while doing it.
I mean for people who enjoy the game... that's great, if it satisfies their fps hunger, why not? I just can't get over what they did to their pc fans and I just won't buy the game right now. Perhaps, in 1 or 2 years, I'll come across a copy and I'll be like : hmmmmmmm, looks interesting. Otherwise, I'll take my money elsewhere and encourage developers that will stay true to me and have always been (DICE with Battlefield). It's simple and I don't get it when people start arguing about how good the game looks and how it plays....it's not about that, it's a matter of principles and how much they pissed me off since the last 3 months, that's it that's all, I'm out ^_^.
I agree about the mods not being a must, but I have to say that they bring a lot in terms of ideas for future titles. When I mean ideas, I mean good ideas, not the crap they've been spewing out of the mouths for the last 3 months now =/
So you'd rather not have anything like that?
There won't be any mods, so why wouldn't they add something that's proven fun and useful?
If mods aren't allowed in MW2 it's not my fault and it's not your fault, it's Infinite Ward's fault. They are being arrogant, self-centered and in way over their head. Mods are a must for any games out there, they give a fresh new look to a somewhat old game. It's a mod on battlefield 1943 that gave birth to battlefield 2 (which was a big success). If you took a look at liquid's text, you would know that IW made a map making contest and ripped the people off by stealing their entries and giving nothing in return. The maps were then slightly modified and included in MW2 without credits to any of it's original creators... in my book we call this a cheap shot.
Ho, ya an liquid I watched the Torchlight review but I just don't get your point... is it cause it looks sooo much like d3?
I can't believe how unfair they were to those people! Ripping their stuff and selling it...saying they made it! ?_? They can't get lower imo! A bunch of crooks is what they are!
Alright so everyone just stopped arguing on how bad MW2 screwed us ? For me, it's not a complicated choice to make ... bad company 2 seems to please me more, so i'll buy that. It was between the 2 anyway and I guess one just had more of what I wanted than the other. In the end it's just a matter of personnal taste or how bad you want to get ripped by Activision ^_^.... nah I'm kidding about the last part there, you can do whatever you want sweetheart
It's sad to see a game that could have been great become in 2 months just a plain and simple game. To me, simply this is a fail. They had the material, they had the manpower, they had the tools and the money, sad that some people aren't fit enough to capitalize on all this raw power just because of bad decision making. When I heard the interviews, I swear a could hear a voice in the back saying : " Oh my god.....we created monsters (Mackey McCandlish, Ryan Lastimosa and Vince Zampella )!".
Dude, EA may have bought DICE but it's a hell of a lot better than the Activision dumbheads who just gave a middle finger to their best fans. If that's not stupid, I don't know what is. DICE had the decency to stay true to the franchise and to their fans, this makes them the #1 choice for me. EA isn't that bad, sure they buy companies and make some stuff into real crap (Red alert 3 for instance) but some stuff really turn out to be jewels like Dead space.... and BC2 :P. I know it's too early to say that it's gonna be a hit but I have a feeling it will.
Well... quite frankly, it doesn't look like I'll be playing the runner up. This, to me, looks better than anything shown from MW2 so far.

Keep going, Infinity Ward. Keep gnawing on the hands that fed and nurtured you in your early years.
Whatever. I'll just stick with Valve and DICE for my FPS gaming needs.
You guys rock! Battlefield bad company 2 is gonna be the shit. I'm looking foward to playing with you two for sure:thumbsup:. Been playing most of the DICE fps (bf2 and bf2142) and BC2 is gonna be a totaly mindreacking experience. Dedicated servers, destructible environments... what more do you want? MW2 can go to hell for all I care.
