I don't think it's fair for you to judge the games unless you've played them.
While Resistance is a fun game, it doesn't deserve the praise it's gotten. After reading reviews and hearing bout it from people I expected a whole lot more.
The way the story advances is laughable. The combat is completely retarded because the enemies, on normal difficulty no less, are ridiculously accurate and even have weapons that shoot through buildings and cover. In fact cover is almost useless because somehow your body always sticks out somewhere and you get hit anyway.
You pretty much have to run back and forth across the screen shooting . It's like when you play an online game with people, and you have those douchebags that just run back and forth in front of you blasting away. That's how you have to play that game ...
The story is pretty good though - so it's very disappointing the way they chose to tell it.
Also, the levels can be like 5 minutes long to 15 ... I mean c'mon .. it's like a game of mini-levels.
I like how you don't mention some of the games you mentioned are not out yet, true characteristics of a raging fanboy.
When did I state Mass Effect was not well known.
Bias to the PS3? I have a 360 and its amazing how its broken down on me 4 times and I still play it. I never said I'd rather not kill someone in "only" a clip, I stated I don't like the idea of killing someone taking a whole clip.
In Halo It takes a whole assualt rifle clip + melee to kill someone, thats bullshit. In resistance you can down someone in half a clip and live if you get attacked in the process.
Halo having an outstanding story is your opinion.
Your games are not well known, maybe to a 360 fanboy like yourself that crys when someone has a differant opinion.
Funny how you think I am bias to the PS3 when my avatar and sig is Gears of War based
As usual you have no facts backing up your statements, your game preferences are your opinions.
Now go rage all you like fanboy
You're the one raging because your system broke. Which either stems from you A. Not being intelligent enough to place it in a properly ventilated area, or B. Your system actual has broken one or two times because of M$'s shitty components, but the other two would most likely fall under A. I've had a system break before, and it was because I had it in an entertainment console, in a tight space with almost no ventilation. I've kept my current one in a well ventilated area and it's fine. (That's not to say that the 360 is made very well - but if you don't treat it like shit and you actually know how to take care of it it works fine)
And I hate to say it, but if someone hasn't heard of those games then they're living under a rock.
The games I mentioned are very well known to anyone who follows gaming. (That does NOT include just following the 360.) Anyone who ever glances through a gaming magazine, or checks out a gaming website or outlet will have heard of 85% of the games I mentioned.
If you haven't, do yourself a favor and load up ign.com and check them out. If you haven't heard of them then you're obviously not a gamer. Casual gamer, most likely. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Secondly, I never said you were bias for the PS3. I said you were bias AGAINST the 360, which you obviously are because you feel some sort of hurt because your systems breaking.
And lastly, my bad for the Halo attacking w/e thing. I thought you were angry that it "only" took one clip to kill someone. A misread on my part.
GT5
God Of War 3 Siren Valkyrie chronicles
Motorstorm Infamous
Uncharted
Uncharted 2
Killzone 2
Metal Gear Solid 4 Heavy Rain
M.A.G.
FFXIII Versus
Resistance
Resistance 2
...and more - PLEASE elaborate, k?
Actually that is why i want the ps3, because the 360 hardly has any great games that are JUST the 360. And for what it has (halo 3, gears 2, and maybe fable 2), a good few go to the pc if they are not already.
Dude you just named like four games that are like 1+ years from even being released. And I already addressed Resistance. Bolded games are games that unless you follow the PS3 ( I do so I know them ) then you wouldn't know of the game. Underlined game is fairly well known.
IMO, PS3 has a very bad library of games compared to the 360 (this is taking into account all the games that is on both systems).
And DGK, you fail at that argument. The games I listed are all VERY well known games. Mass Effect is probably the best RPG released on either system right now. All those series' are well known. The only games I can think of that "aren't well known" would be Blue Dragon, Moto GP, and Lost Odyssey. But if you claim that the rest are obscure then you're just living under a rock, or are bias to the PS3 and trying to bring out an argument. And as far as you saying that you'd rather not use "only" 1 clip to kill someone - you'd prefer less realistic games (Halo isn't even realistic ...) ? I'm not sure what you're trying to get at since Resistance is very easy at killing people. And stating that Halo is only good for online, pretty much saying that single player story mode sucks, shows your extreme bias. Halo has an outstanding story.
360 Exclusives:
Mass Effect
Gears of War Series
Halo 3
Halo Wars
Halo ODST
Halo: Chronicles
Blue Dragon Series
Beautiful Katamari
Crackdown
Dead or Alive Series
Fable Series
Forza Motorsport Series
Lost Odyssey
Moto GP
Ninja Gaiden Series
Perfect Dark Series
Saints Row Series
Star Ocean Series
Games that "were" PS exclusives, but M$ has bought rights for:
Final Fantasy Series
Resident Evil
Grand Theft Auto Series
Assassins Creed
Devil May Cry Series
Virtua Fight Series
And MGS - Konami's already put MGS on multiplatform before ... so they could again, I suppose.
And let's not forget that the playstation gets OMGWTFPWND by the 360 in terms of it's online play in terms of service, community, and content.
Hey, if Blue Ray is that important to you, go right ahead. But I really can't find a good reason for me buying a PS3 other than "I could". Looking back, I probably would go with PC upgrades. I'm playing Resistance right now and am enjoying that a lot. But I already beat MGS, I have the two resistances, little big planet, and then I think of games to get and nothing seems any good that I couldn't get for the 360.
Hey, if you want, you can buy mine. [/kidding sorta]
And last but not least. I'm not sure how Resistance can be termed as "amazing" and "much better than Halo". I found it a lot easier than Halo (or am). And also it seems like you have to be fucking Rambo and run back and forth dodging fucking ammo that heat seeks to you.
Also, Resistance is ABYSMAL at story telling. I'm enjoying the game, dont get me wrong, but you have like 10 minute long levels, and then a black and white picture cut scene telling things. Knock Halo all you want, but it was magnificent at driving the story and telling it.
On a lot of games 360 has better graphics (Im not sure why this is, you'd think the PS3 would), and the 360 has a MUCH wider variety of games and gets almost ALL of the PS3 games.
The only reason I can validate my purchase is due to MGS4 and Little Big PLanet. Other than that, I wasted money. u_u
I've had my 360 for almost 3 years, and the only RRoD I've had is when I had it cramped up in a small space in an entertainment center, lol.

This whole god damned argument makes me no longer want my PS3. LMAO. u_u

But I still stand by my argument that the 360 is a best "GAMING" system for people. (Besides the PC. PC > All else)
The numbers don't lie, either.

No. True. (Not all the time, obviously). I have both to compare, lol.
