im pretty sure hydras shoot acid spines lol, i know its some form of acid.
i cant wait untill you wear a headpeice, suit, and have a gun. and you actully have to move around in a room to move the player and aim the gun to shoot ppl.
No acid what so ever. Quoted from Starcraft2.com
The spindly, snake-like hydralisks house hundreds of armor-piercing spines within their upper carapace plates. These spines have been specifically evolved from the defensive urticating hairs of the slothien and adapted to a new purpose. Hydralisks use powerful muscle contractions to launch the spines in volleys at enemies approaching from either the air or the ground.
Honestly, why do so many people think it is acid that they shoot? Did anyone here ever play the game, let alone read the manual?
could you imagine the amount of gore and blood that would be in the starcraft and diablo series? with these new graphics engines and making the POV at ground level would be rediclous. imagine a hydralisk spitting acid onto your arms and you actully watch them melt away or imagine a diablo spewing fire into your face. world of warcraft is for little kiddies compared to what diablo and sc have to offer.
The Hydralisk shoots spines, not acid.
Shows how much you know.
But yeah, Give the game world 15 years, and it will be REAL. There will not be a difference between games and the real world. Well, maybe, since everything might look a little too real. Imagine that. Video games that have more detail than real life. Higher resolution than the eye can see. Is that even possible? No, I'm not stoned right now.

Yeah its green, and yeah the hydra bends back and then flicks his head forward, but that doesn't change the fact that it is just needle spines.
Besides, I like the idea of hundreds of needle sized spines flying into a person at hypersonic speeds in high definition. That would be sooooo gory.:D
