carriers are trash, and if any game makes it to carriers the players are most likely shitty.
OK, now, there is only one unit that is close to trash in the entire game. That is the Scout. Carriers, on the other hand, are a common PvT late game tactic. Especially hidden carriers. They are not really trash if they are built at the right moment. They are pointless to build early, they are also pointless to be built visibly because building them takes a while, but please don't say they are trash just because you haven't been beaten by them...

The thing about it is though. If i can get to carriers i win 95% of the time. I usually build up a strong front def and get to the end of the tech tree asap.
Just wondering... what kind of games do you play and in what kinds of areas... ICCUP?
I really think it depends on what kind of map one plays which is the "best". Depending on certain maps certain races have an edge up on other races, while other maps they may be weaker.
That's why you play on league maps that are balanced...
Whenever i am on bnet, and it is team battle, i just put up defenses and use all of my supply points on zerglings...400 zerglings attacking your base? i doubt they will die. Zerglings are probably the fastest made unit and it usually takes me about 9 minutes to get all 400 of them.
Without Ultras, you are nothing, even if you have cracklings... tanks, mines, blockades, simple M&M, and I am not even mentioning irradiated science vessels. Lings alone are easy to counter, and in 9 minutes your enemy can as well get pretty much any technology they want.
The races are balanced, if you don't realize that you are doing something wrong.
...but surely you are not saying that Zerg can only win by a rush and are useless middle to late game?
