duh. i got 512, and am going to put all the ram dependents as low as i can, i hate lag but sometimes its unavoidable. what should i make? im waiting for all the updates to finish lol
The biggest devil is the resolution, although that is dependent on the graphics card too. Keep it low and you can keep the other settings on decent levels.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

your computer has insufficient RAM.
(or something to that effect)
If you have 128, you're screwed, period. WoW goes heavy on your RAM no matter what your settings.
If you have 256, you will make it. Just stay out of the capitals where a lot of people gather. My friend played with 26 for half a year, and he did fine.
512 is really the minimum for, but I'd recommend at least 1024. With that it works flawlessly.
EDIT: Oh, and as you've probably head by now, NEVER EVER under ANY circumstances give out your account name or password. EVER!

Rofl! Probably a lot of BE females dancing everywhere. Same with Humans and sometimes Night Elfs. You usually see naked humans in goldshire. Just incase you wanted to know
I'm not a complete retard. That's how it's been ever since release, thus I did not ask.

Pff, I've heard them all since long ago.
But can't you see what people have against them? The females do look like Barbie dolls, and the men are the "least muscular" or the races (except for the Forsaken, but can you ever truly consider them as anything besides corpses?)
And then we have all the Horde whining about all Legolas fan-boyz jumbing over to Horde now that BE look "good", and people can now play as a "pretty" race in the Horde.

Anyway, Phrozen, i'm not much into alliance. i mainly play there cause of my friends. Plus everyone goes for Red, Purple and Blue. And since i prefer Green as a color too i took it
I'm thinking of making a Blood Elf (how original ) once I start again. Maybe we could play together then?

Agreed, one mont is too short for most people. And by one month I wasn't sure if you were talking /played or RL time. /played 1 month is acceptable of coure, but 1 month overall is not (to me.) Even 13 days is acceptable. I'm lvl 40 and a bad lvler, got to 40 at like 14 days. And I SUCK at lvling, if I didn't goof off and did quests all the time when I was on I would be 60 maybe like 63 right now. But I think that 1 month in real life time is a little short... btw what lvl are you now?
Me? None, I deleted all my characters and sent all my gold to a friend so he could buy an epic mount

Then I have no life I guess. I should make a Philosophy thread about that...
Anyway, Diablo is much, much , much easier to level in.
And one month is optimistical. When I reached 60 (not 70) with my first char, I had 320 hours (~13 days) on that one character. But then I didn't level all the time. So you see, one month is too short for most people.

Who does?
The only time I use it is if I want to complete a quest and can't arse myself to complete manually, or I want some good-looking gear while leveling.

I can only imagine what will happen well all those lvl 70 decide to switch level professions and copper comes into demand. Or rather when brand new characters reach 70. I'll be able to charge at least 5g fro 20 bars!

Amen to that. I am completely serious when I say that I never completed it. PUG's are just impossible, and I didn't have time to raid, so our guild mainly ran UBRS/Scholo etc...

Highest is 70.
If you mean deafeating as in becoming 71, that's impossible.
If you mean defeating it as completing everything, expect it to take forever.Literally. First you will need a month to 70 (assuming you learn along the way). Then you will need 1-2 months of gathering gear for raids. Then another 1-2 months for beating the last dungeons. And by that time new "last" dungeons wll have arrived.
All this time is assumpions. It would have taken considerably longer pre-BC, but according to Blizzard thigns should go more smooth right now. But I think this estimation is optimistic.

I should have clarified, but what I meant was that even though a mage is the best AoE farmer, it isn't the same as having a blizzard sorc doing Baal-runs decked out in uniques and runewords.
Now regarding the new greens, the way I got it was that T3 wuld b viable in Kharazan and other early 70 dungeons. Is that no longer the case?

Come on, as a true allience you have to pick blue, or maybe purple. And possibly red
Highest char on D2? 93 Zealot, but it's in a mod and not on B.net
