You have to use dr. tester, although if you want to have a cyclone armor effect you will have to merge two different .gif animations afterwards. I can try to make one for you tomorrow.
Sorry, but I'm not going to be doing this. It gives me way too much problems trying to align 7 different .gif animations with each other when their frame numbers don't add upp and the color of the armor is white in game but black in dr.tester.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

I noticed among the images that you have uploaded a character image of an Elemental Druid standing on a black bacground and moving. Could you tell me how you did that? I tried taking several screenshots of my druid with Cyclone Armor around him and then making an animated gif using picasion.com but the image came out really tiny and also the game doesn't allow me to take screenshots often enough for the animation to be fluid. Wish I could make something similar to the Sorceress casting Fireball. Druid in Cyclone Armor casting Molten Boulder would be nice.

If there is anything style wise that you think could be improved on the page, I'd definitely appreciate your feedback. I guess I'll get more experience from fixing those things myself than having someone do it for me, so if you could just give me some pointers as to what exactly should be worked on, I'll look into it.
Well at this point it's just a matter of aesthetics, and since it's a singleplayer build it doesn't make much sense to have a gear list. Perhaps inserting a thumbnail image in the large walls of text. Also, having the skill image sitting right in the middle looks awkward. It would be much better if if were to float to the right or left of the page, with text flowing around it. You try figuring that one out yourself first
So I wasn't sure if I was simply to leave the Image table cell empty or delete it completely. I eventually figured it out though by steal...eh ehm...I mean, using another image I noticed on another druid guide. I hope nobody kicks my butt for that
You can always preview your page and see how any changes will work out, the preview button is right next to the save button. In this case, just leaving the |Image cell blank would have removed the image part entirely from the table (quite useful when you want to use it but don't have an image).
Any template you use (that's what those things are called) will be linked to at the very bottom of the web-page (right underneath the Save page button). You can click on it, and it will take you to the template page, which will usually include some form of description on how to use it properly.
Also, you can use any image we have in the wiki. A full list of them can be found at Category:Images. We have close to 3,000 though so it may take a while for you to find what you want
also, a 9 minute video I made was 5,5GB large!). So I guess that's a goodbye to free recorders unless I have some luck with the sound on XFire tomorrow. It will take a week to upload that 5GB monster to youtube though
Don't do that, that file is uncompressed. It's the only way any program can dump the screen 30 times per second without lagging your machine at the same time. You have to encode it afterwards (you know, DivX, Xvid, MPEG etc.) in order to reduce the file size. For this, Virtualdub is great (and free).

Thanks a lot, Phrozen! I really could use some help with the formatting, all I have managed to "master" so far was inserting a few pictures through links (even though I'd rather display them directly on the screen). I'm used to various html text editors but this is completely new for me.
You can use wiki-code as well as html, which in many cases may be be easier depending on what you want to do. Though I suspect that is equally as confusing to use as of now. Wikipedia's own help articles will can be of great help here if you wish to learn more about it.
I have some more editing to do as far as the textual content goes but if you could help me out with e.g. making some tables for the stats/skills it would be awesome.
I figured I could take a look on the other build pages to see how some stuff is done but I couldn't find any videos there...and also sometimes simply couldn't make heads or tails of some of the formatting. Hope I get better because I'd definitely like to share a few more builds with you people (summoner/magic find necro  ).

As for the formatting in other guides, could you be a bit more specific on what was confusing?

Yes it is, and it's quite simple to embed a video. Insert {{#ev:youtube|abcdefghij}} onto a page and replace abcdefghij with whatever letter/number combination your video happens to have.
As for a good and free video recording software... afraid I don't
As for the gudie itself, I haven't yet had the time to read it, but I have taken a quick peek, and I think it could use some formatting. I'll help you out with that if you want, and until then you can also take a look at some of our more extensive builds for some tips on how to do stuff ( Mauler and Frenzy Barbarian for example). And remember that you can always click on "edit" on any page to see how it has been formatted

Do you still want help with this?

Other than that, Kickin provides good advice
