I was running some more tests, I went to uninstall Diablo III again and realized D3PTR was still installed. After removing the PTR my game seems to be working normally again.
I am running into the same issue with Act 2 Desolate sands. This is really hurting my season experience as I cannot get the materials required to extract legendaries because of this bug. If anyone has any idea on how to fix I would be deeply appreciative.
From what i've tested it seems to be only certain areas within the map itself that cause this to happen; as I've entered from another route other than the waypoint into desolate sands. When I run towards the waypoint the screen freezes but gameplay continues. This has also happened during rifts. The only way I get my video back is by TPing and opening up my task manager.
I do not use turboHUD
I've tried windowed, Fullscreen, ect.
I've tried changing my graphic options around, even dropping resolution.
Any help would be great thank you
