posted a message on Should Diablo make the jump to film?

Honestly i'd rather see a Diablo movie but, a Warcraft movie will reach a lot more people. I'd even settle for an animated short series for Diablo. Some way to get the lore across to people who haven't read the books.

posted a message on Why do *you* love Diablo?

    1. Lore, Blizzard does lore very well. I don't read much game lore books but, with Diablo I read all of the books in a course of a few weeks because of how amazing the story is.

    2. Diablo is nostalgic

    3. My fun doesn't depend on anyone else. I can play whenever I want, how much I want and with whoever I want.

    4. I can drop insane amount of time into this game and never be finished with it. Currently sitting at my third most played game with a little over 3000 hours. (FFXI being my 1st.withabout17,000hrs)

    5. Blizzards support for this game. The frequency of patches for this game this long after it was released is astonishing.

    6. Slaughtering demons.

    7. The thought that one day we might get to see Trag'oul or Inarius in a game.

posted a message on Overwatch WTF?

All recent blizzard games are built to be easy on the surface to attract a wider range of players hopefully converting a few into more hardcore players. This was a philosophy stated at one of the blizzcons; I don't remember which from.

Honestly I'm enjoying the change it feels like blizzard is aging with me as I fall into more real life events such as multiple jobs, I can still log into bnet and have fun for a couple hours a few days a week. Games you can play every so often are becoming a really big thing and blizzard seems to be trying to tap into that market for heavy casually timed gamers while still offering something for people who have more time to dump into a game.

I'll be playing overwatch and probably spending money on it even if it's f2p. I like supporting blizzard and I'm really looking forward to this game, as I feel it will be another game I can play without much free time.

There are so many popular games with "cartoony graphics" look at: dungeon defenders, tf2, torchlight, heroes of the storm, league of legends, smite, battlefield heroes(not really popular but a good game nonetheless), warcraft, starcraft, hearthstone, and the biggest of them all world of warcraft. The graphics on this game isn't what is going to be it's downfall. It'll be lack of a progression system and gameplay, I can guarantee there will be hardcore players in this game like any battlefield or cod game. As for overwatch becoming an esport, we'll have to see I honestly didn't think HOTS was going to even compete with LoL, but the community really trashed that game.

posted a message on Stash Space. The Struggle is real. - Updated comment.

Honestly I think the best solution would be similar to what Torchlight did with the characters personal stash and having a separate shared stash. Unfortunately I think that was only possible because of less players and a offline mode. I would even be willing to pay for additional stash space whether it be Gold or USD hell I'd even pay monthly for more stash space like additional retainers in FFXIVARR. Whatever the solution this needs to be solved, it's a bigger issue than I feel blizzard realizes it is.

At this point in Diablo I'm practically playing Tetris with my inventory more and more often. I feel discouraged in playing other classes since the inventory issue is a big problem.

I was running some more tests, I went to uninstall Diablo III again and realized D3PTR was still installed. After removing the PTR my game seems to be working normally again.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Act V Swamp AreasFreezes Video but gameplay is still there

I am running into the same issue with Act 2 Desolate sands. This is really hurting my season experience as I cannot get the materials required to extract legendaries because of this bug. If anyone has any idea on how to fix I would be deeply appreciative.

From what i've tested it seems to be only certain areas within the map itself that cause this to happen; as I've entered from another route other than the waypoint into desolate sands. When I run towards the waypoint the screen freezes but gameplay continues. This has also happened during rifts. The only way I get my video back is by TPing and opening up my task manager.

    I do not use turboHUD

    I've tried windowed, Fullscreen, ect.

I've tried changing my graphic options around, even dropping resolution.

Any help would be great thank you

posted a message on Triple hardcore rip
In any form of competition there are cookie cutter ideals. You can do whatever you want now in terms of builds for t6 and even up to 30/35 grifts, but the higher you get the more refined your build becomes. It won't ever be different, regardless of any changes they make there will always be the cookie cutter builds that exist in all forms of competition.

Honestly if I still played HC I would never in my right mind go into a grift with that many lit. dh. rip and hopefully you all learn from your mistakes.

And pretty much what MHM said, not worth me losing hundreds of hours over something as silly as this.

posted a message on Vault vs SS What do you prefer?
I use Vault, personally I can't really see any situation where SS would outperform Vault unless you're using M.bolts build. Vault has an invincible frame like combat rolling in Dark Souls; once you can abuse that Vault > SS all day unless you're mbolts.

posted a message on Best class to partner with in 2 man groups?
Unfortunately Wizard doesn't have much group synergy at all. If you want to tackle the highest possible grifts a zdpsmonk/wd will be the best bet. Or something with a lot more control like a vacuum-condemn or stampede crusader. However condemn build gets a bit risky around gr38.

posted a message on Lightning vs Fire vs Cold for groups
Lit. has better group damage, fire has better single target dmg in groups if someone is proccing trapped. Lit. is pretty much the best with optimal gear due to being invincible. If you plan on pushing the GR limits you need to go Lit. Ball/MBolts spec.
