Pretty sure you will have to run the whole thing again.
Why?
Why can't inferno just start with all acts/waypoints unlocked?
Also has Blizzard ever said anything at ALL on the topic, that gives you so much assurance?
We can probably assume that there will be vanity things unlocked by completing inferno (achievements or w/e else they come up with). Thus being able to just take a waypoint to the next achievement would make that a bit too easy.
The fact that after every difficulty you reset when you enter the next makes Swiftee's assumption quite valid.
Regarding OP, i feel that teal makes for a great gastly aura about him, and for the rest who say its not dark enough i personally like to see where im going, didnt everyone else get pissed off when it would turn night getting the Clawviper Temple?
I think its a stupid system, the people with bots have figured out the timing so it doesnt even matter for them, its just the rest of us being unable to play the game without waiting and worrying if it will work
I started playing Snej just yesterday, first time ever playing a mod. I liked that they kept all the same skills (easier transition for a mod noob). But because of that its quite similar to vanilla D2 LOD minus a few customizations to a few areas per act.
All in all its basically just scaling diablo further (max lvl 500, max skill points at 60, ive found a 6+ ele helm for myself, so the loot scaled as well). So its gonna be day 2 of playing tomorrow, so i can follow up unless you find something else that interests you
All characters are DPS, and the enemies have different AI depending on the type of enemy. The same aggro rules won't apply to all enemies. Some might target threats, some might target those with weak defense, some might target those that are close, etc.
This sounds like a much better system than aggro simply based on dps or healing, makes the mobs have more personality.
Yes i love the idea that you need constant strategy over D2's use 1 skill and repeat gameplay.
Although im open to this idea, if they keep the current rune system i will be equally as please. The system Jay Wilson talked about (i remind you that its not in the game yet) leaves alot to luck. This leads me to think that people may be inclined to put very high prices on specific skill runes when someone rolls 8 runes without luck.
And how often did you feel lucky in D2?
Thats the only thing i cant think of that i wouldnt like about this system. But im eager to see if it does indeed get implemented or not.
I sort of recall that the different monsters will have different aggros, some will simply attack the closest, while others will pursue the weaker or those dealing damage from afar. Im sure given enough time people will have a better understanding of what monsters to stay out of range of.
Everyone will be playing online. If you want to play alone you will still have to log in. You'll just have to make a private game. There wont be a separate area for single player characters, everyone is online.
As said abOut rune effects this may be a bit iffy. However after having a little experience playing a MOBA game on sc2 for a bit, it's been my first real experience with significant cooldowns (2-5mins). And I have to say that if your not in a position to use those skills often you often see them going unused for MUCH longer then the cooldown. So for that reason I wouldn't like to see cooldowns much past the 1 minute mark.
