They can't use potions like the previous Diablo games since that concept for some reason sucks (Didn't Diablo 2 win game of the year... Or something?) and health orbs clearly are an awful idea...
So what is your brilliant plan for players regaining health in the game if not those two?
I think he would be happy with the Boba Fett editor where he can be invincible and auto kill us for all of our gold.
I will play this game no matter what, but would like as much customization as possible. I believe in the end D3 will be a great game, but may be different from what we are all used to.
I want my Wizard to wear plate mail at level 20 and I should be able to do it. I know a lot of my friends probably won't play this game with me if you can't distribute attribute points. If there's one thing that they should have kept the same it should have been that. I think the rest of it is fine, or atleast tolerable.
I can't wait to play this game, and I will give it a shot no matter what they do with it. I just want it to be a good game with an awesome community like D1 and D2 were back when they came out. Some of the most fun I've had online has been in Diablo. As long as this game is awesome I won't have much to complain about. Of course we want it to stay true to the franchise, but in the end Blizzard doesn't care about EVERYTHING that we want for their game. They are making it and will only bend so much. Automatic stat distribution is lame, and I wish they would change that. Respecs are kind of lame as well, but I don't really care about those either. I want this game to be Diablo, not another rehash of every MMO feature all rolled into a hack and slash. Hopefully Blizzard will find a point in the middle to meet with us, their playerbase, and make both sides happy in the end.
I hated having to play a female for my sorc in D2. I was sooooooo happy that they are allowing a choice of male/female for each class. Thanks Blizzard!
That 8600Gt probably only runs AoC on very low settings. My brother has one of those in his comp and had to turn down everything in AoC to get it to run properly.
I recommend www.globalcomputers.com for Barebones Kits. They have a ton. I built my brother a Barebones Gaming rig (without a monitor) for $350 2.2ghz dual core, 8600gt, Nvidia 680i Motherboard, 2 gigs of 533mhz ram and a bunch of other stuff. It was a good buy. For that cheap we can afford to upgrade parts when we need to. Good luck!
D 1 is not available for digital download from Blizzard, I tried. I just bought a Battle Chest and got it in there. I would check Amazon and Ebay for it if you want it really bad.
EDIT: I didn't realize talking about torrents was against the rules. I edited my post to remove the info about it. Sorry. Won't happen again.
Hey guys, I'm new to this site because frankly i didn't know it existed until there was a link from the Official D3 page. I'm excited about this game, and really I don't know why everyone is complaining. I just want to play a game from a company that doesn't know how to make bad games. I'm still loving D2 and want the sequel out A.S.A.P. I really think WoW needs to be kept in its own little world. Giant shoulderpads just don't need to be in D3. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for that link. I hadn't seen all that before. I was wondering where people were getting all those quotes from. Thanks again.
