I think you guys don't see all the good in this...
1.) No bots
2.) No third party sites
3.) Sub prime drops will now appear good as players are now on an even playing field. No more players such as Athene that get fed and make everyone else think their gear sucks. No more trade scams/tycoons.
4.) PvP can finally find a center of balance. Just like esports, everyone has an even playing field. No ability to use real money.. no ability to use social connections to stack up.
5.) FINDING items is actually the end game like it was meant to be....
This. And I agree with Itirnitii. Playing should be rewarding, not trading and excessive use of the AH. Good items can still be traded, perfect items cannot be traded. Now we can reward ourselves by playing the game. See you ingame while farming.
^ This makes sense but rares and legendaries/sets aren't necessarily "Good" or "Perfect". You MIGHT find a "Perfect" rare and a "Good" legendary but by the looks of it you won't be able to trade that legendary even though its still "Good".

People are buried so deep with just one class. I have every class of level 60 on both SC and HC. I think more people should play multiple classes. That way you can find use for all of your gear.
Thats not the point, even then as a player I should be able to play the classes I wanna play. For example I love the barb and wiz but hate the WD. If I'm getting BOA items for witch doctors and I can't trade them to a player who likes to play that class then that item is useless to me.

and this post isn't about you and what you do when you play, sure you farm paragon when you "feel like it" but that's not the case for other people. and no i don't prefer 1.0.4 pre legendaries, it was a good change but they couldve done so much more. Anyone else not think it's ok that the only viable legendary 2h is skorn? or that staves or 2h mighty weapons arent even considered viable? I understand you're point about the skills and how in every games theres always going to be that one build that beats all but atleast in diablo 2 each class had more than 2 builds that were comparable to each other. Then they go and say they scrapped the old skill system for a new one for the same results? not even that but worse? and sure act 3 is by far the most efficient, im not asking for the other acts to be better or even the same, im asking for them to be comparable. because once in awhile a change of scenery would be nice without having to sacrifice efficiency. Yes, i play the game for fun, but most of the fun for me is finding the best items and i would assume that, that's how it is for atleast some people. So why not make some of the acts more comparable? is that so hard to ask?

With any sort of math and theorycrafting, there will always be some sort of build or combination of skills that dominate the others. Same with other games; Final Fantasy RPGS - some equipment and skill selection will outshine the rest no matter how else you attempt to tackle the games.
Buffed drop rates of legendaries and new legendaries? half of which are instant brimmed regardless of roll. The other half have to roll decent to sell for anything or be even worth using.
Do you prefer pre-1.04 legendaries? I'd prefer to brim 50% more often rather than 90% of legendaries you see once in a blue moon.
Ubers and hellfire ring? theres no reason to do ubers after you acquire a somewhat decent hellfire...the least they couldve done is buffed ubers to the point where we could still farm them for other things.
Perhaps you've never attempted to do ubers just for fun. Or to socialize with some friends while doing a run. Or have you never found anything that dropped from ubers other than a chance mat under MP10? Like any other boss or elite, they can drop a ton of high-potential loot other than mats. I don't use a Hellfire, yet I still do uber runs for fun.
Paragon? you mean a system that added extra "exp" bars and levels just so they could get rid of MF in the long run? if thats the case then why is it that we still have MF in the game?. Half of the Diablo 3 player base finds themselves farming for paragon levels which if you wanna be efficient at is just running A3 over and over again. Blizzard needs to make drastic AND minor changes to this game. Now with 1.0.7 out we can actually farm Act 2 VOA....well done....bravo. What about Act 1 and Act 4? Garbage acts for farming anything efficiently. We should be able to farm across acts with somewhat comparative results but Act 3 dominates by FAR.
Leveling in an RPG? Oh, my. Yes, they can get rid of MF. But you can still use MF until you reach paragon 100. Half of D3 farming for paragon? Paragon is one mere aspect of the game. I personally deliberately farmed for paragon when I felt like it. Other times paragon EXP was just a bonus to what I focused on, which was farming for loot or socializing with friends in-game. And efficiency is yet just another aspect of the game; a strategy if you will. Do you forget that some people actually try to play this game for fun? Yes, Act III is by far the most "efficient," but are you not allowed to farm anywhere else? No one said, "No, you are not allowed to farm Act IV because it's a stupid act."

And if you can't open your eyes to see how far this game has evolved since May 2012, I can't help you there. You can be miserable if that's what you want. Everyone knows and understands the idea behind the AH and the RMAH which has no place in an action rpg such as diablo 3. It ruins items, it ruins the value and the purpose of the game. I'm not here to argue about whether or not blizzard has come a long way in making this game mediocre in my opinion. I'm here to state the fact that blizzard is doing so much less than they can actually do. Theyre so concerned about building this game and making it "a whole different game that previous diablos" that they are willing to take risks and make unnecessary changes to a franchise that which till this day is widely played throughout the world. The fans and customers have spoken, they have spoken before release, during beta, after release and even now but blizzard just won't listen. They're going to stick to what makes them money, once they realize they start losing customer base they give the fans a little bit of what they want to keep them hanging on and then it's back to business. To blizzard it's not about making the game the most enjoyable to the fans/customers, it's about making money which to me is absolutely ridiculous.
I know i just wanted to rage that's all. With a company like blizzard, i guess i was expecting a little better. The game is close to being a year old. Thought they'd do more by now.

- buffed drop rates
- monster power

- leveling in general (EXP)
- crafting
- PvP (brawling)
- hotfixing of exploits
- higher crackdown on botting
- ton of "quality of life" tweaks
Of course any company would like to do more and any consumer would like to see more. But they really have done a lot to address player concerns.

So I just finished reading that last blue post and I can't help notice that the devs tend to use the terms, "Plan to", "trying", "should be", "need to do more to improve", and none that say we are actually working on....This is a rage post and I just wanted to say something =).....along the lines of stop fucking around blizzard and get your shit together, there are plenty of ideas that can improve this game, some of them are very simple. For starters, take your team that worked on the console version and take them in to improve the PC/Mac version. At the rate these patches come in your players get tired and bored of the simple one sided ideas that you implement.

From what I can see, this game is not about loot. It's about grinding items to salvage/sell. There is no more items that you find and go "YES!! I found the SoJ!"

Have the loot system somewhat like D2, nothing was wrong with that, shit you can even take that and make it much more random and it would still be fine, but what they did was start from scratch and made every item the same with just diff class requirements and looks. Whats diff from a 2h sword and a staff or 2h axe? Nothing since it's all random.
So, you want random items, but the stats on them should randomly be what you desire them to have...
I like it this way, it give items flavor. What I find odd though is that you don't think need any Int or Dex on barb items...
You still need the dodge and resist I'd say. If a mighty item drops with +200 Str and 150 Int/Dex, would you rather prefer it not having that extra defence, or what?
Thats not exactly what I'm saying, sure there is room for Dex/Int for a barb, but what im saying is for example, take a 2h Mighty with 4 Random Properties, since the main stat of a Barb is str it should have something like +100-150 str and THEN 3 random properties. A mighty item with +200 str and 150 Int/Dex is amazing in my opinion but your chances of getting something like that is pretty low. I'm just trying to say that atleast make the class specific items have the class main stat, hell even randomize that value i don't care as long as it's there. Shit happen i know but someone who crafts a 2h mighty shouldn't have to worry about it having Int, random resist, random resist, random resist. Atleast have some kind of direction for the items, if not just a little.
Well, the idea was to avoid the situation where the only items people would want were legendaries, by making the very best rares and magics could be better.
If a lot of the items you're finding in inferno are better than the best legendaries, then Blizz probably goofed a little with the stat ranges. If you're only seeing better magic/rares in the AH, then you're comparing the very best of the best magic/rares to legendaries, in which case Blizz wants them to be better.
That said, I like the idea of rares being able to compete with legendaries, if you're looking for specific traits (like just straight damage), and from all the "better" magic/rares people have posted, that's what it seems to be - the legendary is nearly as good in damage, but has other benifits like +stats for hp, resist, dodge, or special effects like stun or knockback.
OK....if thats the case then make the legendaries atleast drop more, theres no reason that I see a rare every 10 mins thats good/amazing but then get a legendary after 40 hours and its crap. If rares and magics are suppose to be better than legendaries then let them drop less, it doesnt make sense that the best items in the game are the most common and the rarest items are barely useable.
