I'll tell you twilight zone. Working today it was literally a torrential downpour, the power went out and we had to use flashlights to help people out of the store. Not even 30 minutes later it's the sunniest, most beautiful day.
Sounds like a normal day in Melbourne!
The source of all our recent strangeness is Melbourne?! This must be some Australian Dr. Evil plot to take over the world.
Man that's no shit! You better have something of interest to talk about or as the years roll by you will find yourself just not talking to each other at all.
Quoted for absolute fucking truth. Take it from people who have been in long term relationships with kids. If you don't have anything in common you don't talk about mutual interests which leads to the only conversation to have is about the kids and bills and that's not fun or enough for anyone. Makes things tough.
Trying to get my fiance to sit down with me and draft out a budget but everytime I mention it she gets all ":(" Ho-hum depressed acting about it and I can't just write it out and enforce it on my own, it takes two since we're both spending money. (Well mostly her :P)
For the love of god, as long as the girl doesn't repulse you, if you have quite a bit in common, don't shut her down. Hours of interesting conversation are far superior to sex with a hot chick. Don't lust after someone initially for their looks, the attraction and lust will come later when you fall in love and are aroused by the chemistry you have with one another.
tl;dr
Common Interests > Looks (to an extent of course, just don't put looks way ahead)
After a while sex is just sex, it doesn't really matter who its with as long as they don't repulse you.
That doesn't mean as a man I don't see a hot chick and think. "Oh man I wonder what she looks like naked" etc but in the end conversation and sex is better than not talking, lots of stress, and sex with a girl who just looks good.
This obviously applies to relationships though and not just hooking up or very casual dating.

I wouldn't date a girl that isn't somewhat of a nerd. I don't care if she is a little bit ugly, or a little bit chubby. As long as I am somewhat attracted to her and we can relate and discuss mutual interests, I don't give a fuck.
I would love that picture if it were not for your feet dangling over the edge. I hate heights and all I can think of is yanking your ass back to safety and giving you a long serious WTF!?! kind of look.
This YOLO shit is dumb and Drake is a annoying poser, throwing up gang signs now after being a actor on that show on Nickelodeon, Degrassi. Now that his acting career has basically come to an end he's going to move into music just like so many other people.
And I don't mean poser like "Oh he's not a real gangster." I mean poser like "Oh he's not a real musician."
Someone doesn't just wake up when you're like 21 and decide you want to be a musician. That's plain lazy, untalented, and unimaginative. "Well I guess I can't be a child actor anymore... I guess I'll just go be a musician!" He's just leaving one gravy train and hopping onto another.
Anyone else miss the times when most music required actual talent and not just tons of money to throw at publicity and autotuning?

Yes but then again I just ignore mainstream music in general so it doesn't effect me too much... except trying to talk to people about music interests. I also watched a recent episode in South Park when everything turns into shit when you get older, haha!

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
From now on I'm playing one game at a time and I'm not stopping until I complete it. I'm not going to be playing through three to five games at once anymore, that shit is impossible.
That's the only way I play games, single player that is. Been playing D3 and BF3 on and off up until a few weeks ago; now I just play BF3 if I get the time.

Don't forget SWAG. Even though whomever brought it back to life is a massive troll, I despise that shit. For example:
Most "musicians" today or rather the mainstream musicians are talentless shits. You just have to have quite good looks and be able to sing a little to be called a musician nowadays, since they auto-tune the living shit out of your voice anyways. I get that people like this kind of music (mainstream pop, RnB), not because they're talented, but because their music have catchy tunes and it may get their groove on by just listening to it.
I for one dig musicians with good lyrics and prefer musicians with instruments (with this I mean any sort of band ). Spending months/years to perfect an instrument and then to put that time into creating your own music is why I appreciate this kind of music more. Locally, to be able to get a decent band together and have a few songs, takes far more time/effort/talent than most of the music today. Don't tell me rapping/singing "You a stupid ho" throughout an entire song takes time/effort/talent.
Spending many hours in the studio to put together just 1 song, putting all that time and effort and endless retakes in the studio into a solid, well performed live show is the epitome of a good musician in my eyes. Having your voice autotuned even in live performances, having the beats preloaded on a laptop (I presume) is not talent.
Even old school rap required the talent of jumping through all the hoops in order to become famous. Now you're rich, you can just be a rapper. It seems like there is almost no effort behind it nowadays compared to what i used to take to become any sort of musician or entertainer, whatever you want to call it, and it's just getting worse. Now you have the kids of the people who bought their way into music who are making music all just because they're rich. I mean honestly look at this historically, are people just getting that much better at singing and playing music that a larger percentage is famous for it? No it's all advertising, how much money you have, and who your parents are.
Some other dumb acronym. It's carried so many meanings though throughout history. Lately it's been used more to describe objects. "Check out this swag I just scored."
Used a lot when referring to valuables, either monetary or otherwise, especially stolen ones.
We live in the day and age where we aren't charged by characters we can type anymore and still people would rather use acronyms for everyday sayings.
Turning the old saying "You only live once." into YOLO makes it hip and trendy.

I thought swag referred to swagger which refers to game or confidence which then refers to success. YOLO... hah stupid, but just think the same people coming up with crap won't understand their kids one day either... everybody gets their turn

I had this one explained to me by a student today. He was wearing a YOLO t-shirt. I don't think I could have hit my face harder with my palm.
You just need to figure out an acronym for history to teach them youngsters. You will start a new wave of teaching and become rich which then results to buying items in D3, so for the sake of D3 farming you must make history teachable by text....

I think that I would sooner take up religion than buy pixels in an online game, but that is a nifty idea for teaching these short-hand(icapped) kids.

Will Smith's kids are a perfect example:
