"3 people (A, B and C) are standing before you, one tells the truth, one always lies and the third one gives a random answer. Random being either true or false (not random as in nonsensical). How do you tell which person is which? You may only ask yes-no questions."
I know the OP of this question already posted an answer to it, but I could not follow the logic of that answer so I kept thinking about it. I think the problem is actually supposed to be much more difficult than the one above, because without any more facts or limits placed on us, it is pretty simple. That is, we are only limited by the fact that we can only ask yes/no questions. Three pieces of information would make this problem drastically more difficult. Those would be, if we can only ask each question once, if the random answerer always gives the same random answer to each particular question, and if there was a limit on how many questions we can ask. If those were limits placed on us, this would be extremely difficult. But the facts do not place these limits on us.
Without those limits, all you need to do is ask each person "Are you random" over and over again. Truthful will always tell you no, liar will always say yes, and random will give you different responses. Because truthful and liar will always, 100% of the time answer each question the same way, we will know that the first person to answer a question a different way is random. So if I ask A "are you random" 10 times, and get at least one yes and one no, then I have found random. Once you have found random, simply ask B "are you random." Since we already know A is random, if B says yes, he is liar, if he says no, he is truthful.
Let me just go ahead and myself before anyone else can. Did I miss something in my logic?
Well, the question did not tell us we can not ask the same question repeatedly. But if you can not ask the same question repeatedly, you can still use a similar logic. Lets say they are all males (it would work the same if they were all female or a random assortment because all you are looking for is the accuracy of their responses, but for simplicity purposes assume all males). I ask them all "are you male". Two will respond one way and the other will respond the other way. Lets say 2 of them say yes to the question and one says no. I know the person who said no is the liar. So now I deal with the other two and ask them questions about their physical attributes until one of them lies. For example I would say "do you weigh 1 pound." Because clearly they both would weigh more than 1 pound, if one of them says yes, I know he is random. I would continue to ask questions about their physical attributes which I could easily tell the correct answer to, until one of them lies. If after asking the original question, 2 said no, the same strategy works, only you are looking for one of them to give a truthful answer.
If I'm not mistaken, you get one question for each, and no more.
Hmm. Once again, the question does not say we only get one question for each, and furthermore, when the person who originally posted the question posted his answer, he asked A several questions.
If you can in fact only ask each person one question, then I am truly stumped, because the random person does not seem to be able to give us any relevant information. If he is truly random, then it is as if asking a magic 8 ball that does not actually listen to the question to derive at his response, it is simply random. There will then be no way to know which of the other two are being truthful, because you will never know which is giving these random responses.
Anyways, just to stay on topic for the thread, here's a question. What feature of Diablo 3 are you most looking forward to?

I like your thinking, and I agree. Its a stupid question that still hasn't been explained properly, not even by wikipedia. Did you see my response to it? (A few posts after it was asked).
What's the most important part of Diablo 3 in your eyes? The actual gameplay, the color scheme and look everyone else is whining about, etc. And explain why you feel this way, and why that specific part plays the biggest role.

The only part of Diablo 3 that matters is the fun factor. If it's fun, awesome. I don't care how sweet the graphics are or how in depth the story is if it's not fun. Crysis Warhead was gorgeous but it was not a great game.
Is there a massive difference between a 2.4GHz Q6600, and a 3.2GHz Q6600. And would you recommend going beyond air cooling?
There will be a noticeable difference in benchmarking results, but not in daily tasks. 3.2GHz is attainable with the right air cooling, and as a liquid cooler myself, I do not recommend it unless its absolutely necessaty. It's a PITA.

What operating system do you use currently? And will you be changing to Windows 7?
I'm currently using Windows 7 on my desktop and Windows Vista on my laptop. I will be using Windows 7 on my desktop when it comes out of beta.

There's been more than 1, 1 on the 5th gen, 2 on 6th gen.
Darn, I want a good Spawn game, wicked character.
I meant another good Spawn game, not another Spawn game. The spawn for SNES was quite good.
