Someone posted that description and the link on the Diablo wiki, and I've found it in a few online book stores.
I really don't have a clue what it is though. There's a 'Warcraft Archive', but I don't know what that is either. What is it?
Edit:
UPDATE
I found out what it is.
The first three books will be in the Diablo Archive, not just the first two. Thats Legacy of Blood, The Black Road and Kingdom of Shadow. And there will be brand new artwork on the cover! Yay new official diablo art. (Knaak said he has it and will post it soon).
Keep us posted if you find out any thing new won't you.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
It's not really an archive if it's two books. And only one of them wa written by Knaak. If it was an archiving of all the Diablo books he has written, that would make more sense.
Though you'd think it would be written somewhere already.
You would thin kthat wouldn't you. Unless it is simply in the early stages and thus nothing official has been mentioned, but that doesn't make much sense.

Its Legacy and Kingdom of Shadow. weird, they should of added Moon too.
Sigh, another edit:
He says what Link said, but those aren't both by Knaak. Also, the picture on teh cover of the Diablo ARchives book has a picture of the Kingdom of Shadow. And he says that its actually 800+ words. Those two books as 800 pages? and with a picture of a different book? this isn't making much sense.
Also, they are turning Demonsbane (lately only available online as a PDF file) into a paperback, along with a Starcraft and Warcraft novel. (I think they are also ones that have only been available online recently too).
well, actually I worked it out, and Legacy + Black Road = 732 pages. But thats definitely not 800+ pages, which makes me question Medieval lol. Maybe there is an extra long autobiography of the authors? maybe the biography isn't included in Amazon's page count? but its included in Medievals?

Well the book is 752 pages. So thats about 20 extra pages. What did Medieval say?
As for Amazon's page count, it says 752 in multiple sites, not just Amazon. Try googling " "Diablo Archive" Book " rather then just Diablo Archive Book. (With Diablo Archive in parenthesis.)
yeah, I saw all the other booksites too, I just used Amazon for an example, which I clearly shouldn't have done lol.
Click on the link, Medieval says 825 pages. he even provides a picture. He seems to have more info than any of the stores, but its just weird that the page numbers are nearly 100 different. And the cover page with the mountain is really annoying me too. This really isn't adding up
I got a reply from Knaak. lol, it kind of beats Medievaldragon! well, kind of. but like, Medieval's post on Blizzplanet was posted back in July 06 haha. Still, its an update.

and Knaak said not to worry about adding up page numbers, the bookstores always get it wrong anyway.
I feel funny about publicy posting emails that I recieve, so I don't wanna post his email he sent me as proof. just trust me that its what Knaak said.
Richard A. Knaak just emailed me his New York Comic Con schedule and a nice surprise. The cover of Diablo Archive in high quality resolution: http://www.blizzplanet.com/news/2277/

Try emailing him - raknaak@sbcglobal.net (from the homepage)

Edit: wwooooo.
look at this:
http://digg.com/gaming_news/Diablo_Trade_paperbacks_soon_Diablo_3_looming
It says two pocket books, but it doesn't say which ones. Um, the two ones with Zayl? I don't know, two doesn't really make sense.
Blizzplanet posted this as news. Should this be added to our news? but like, with a better straight up explanation lol.
Edit 2: Medieval posted it for Blizzplanet, of course, lol.
Edit again: Here's the full article http://www.blizzplanet.com/?action=news&id=897

Hmm...
Well this is interesting...
It seems to be a publisher's thing though, I'd doubt Knaak knows much about it at all.
