Time seems to fly when you playing a game I have noticed. If you like me you get totally enrapt into the game and next thing you know its 3:30 am and you think to yourself 'Oh S*** I have work in 4 hours'.
Even before Diablo 3 has been released to the public how many hours have you spent just reading up on it or watching clips or something on those lines. I went back and actually played right on thru Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 expansions included just to catch up on it again (The story line, which you probably know back to front anyways). So I was wondering how many hours have you spent on Diablo, this being in any form, from Diablo 1-2,reading, watching ext ext, and how has this effected you?
Minutes to hours, I have spent hundreds of hours of my life playing this game( Yes I admit I may be a geek!), personally reading rewatching the trailers and interviews for Daiblo 3 itself have not taken to many hours I hope
Even tho I say to myself that I won't play Diablo 2 anymore, I formatted my pc last week and it took me only 6 days to reinstall Diablo 2. That game stole my years let alone days/weeks! I failed a course in university because I played Diablo 2 with a bunch of my friends till morning the night before a final once... I read Book of Cain twice already(mainly because trivia contests but still) and played Diablo 1 for years, so yes, I too hope that Diablo 3 won't tale that many hours of my life
Don't ask me, I would think the amount of time spent researching and putting together my knowledge base of this game is closing into my /played time on my main in WoW.
After the Soon Was Too Soon article from Mike, I gave this game a rest and spent a few months not thinking about the game. I miss those days, lol. We're in the home stretch, so the closer it gets, the harder it becomes to ignore. Stringin' us along...
Still play Diablo 2. I'm currently leveling a Javazon because I found an Eth Titan's Revenge.

God, i'm just the same! After the disaster that was me tottally over-hyping Fable 2 with my nephew, I pretty much swear off watching any videos of games before they come out. The most i've found out about Mass Effect 3 was from playing the demo the other day, beyond that i know nothing and it's out in a couple of months.
I tryed to do that with Diablo 3, but with all the beta contests and just how damn GOOD it's looking, I can't help but check out something new about it every day. Here's hoping it'll be ready soon!
