OK here it goes. I am so not computer savy, but I love my games. My current PC is a Gateway GT5056. It has an AMD Athlon 64 xs 3800+, nVIDIA GeForce 6100 GPU, 1024 MB DDR, 250GB hard drive. I am not sure if that is enough info to help you give me an answer. i got the computer when age of Empires 3 came out and that game runs fine on my PC. I want to be able to play Starcraft 2 and of course D3. Can i get by with my current PC? Can I upgrade my Gateway or do I need a whole new PC. I would like to know of how much money I need to spend.
Thanks so much in advance

512mb ram pentium 2.2ghz intel pentium 4 proccesor and 120gb hard drive Fck yeah!
And my Graphics card.. nVidia 2800 i think. Lawl ill just barley run it but hell if NwN 2 worked this should also work
like everyone said, wait. then drop that shitty gateway and build a new pc, that comp is probably too old for much upgrading. you can build a comp with a duo core and 2GB ram for $300 right now. In one year it'll probably go down to about $200.

$300 for a dual core and 2gb computer? I must be out of the loop or do you mean dual core and 2gb = $300 + more for other parts such as mother board and cpu.

When the game is released, then upgrade your hardware.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

o for reference look at the sc2 system reqs, it should be similar/less for d3.
im planning on running sc2 with 2 g ram and 2.8 intel centrino2 duo and {intel media accelerator} <- that is a beast mes amis lol.
