One thing I noticed about the site is that everyone has great suggestions, opinions, and great ideas for the up and coming Diablo 3. Ever wonder that Blizzard/Blizzard North probably get some of their ideas from us?
Haha, I know it's crazy, but I'm sure they probably get a few storylines here and there from the novels that fans write.
You can do anything you set your mind to. If you read the post about Blizzard's need to hire employees, then, you'd see what they're looking for in people.
There are plenty of Game Design/Animation colleges out there. I've checked a few myself, and they seem top notch.
You'd have hands on experience, and you'd actually be in groups and work on a project of your own, and be able to contribute to other games, and get your name published for credit. By the time you're through with the class, you would've contributed to some other games already, and you'd have experience, and a portfolio to boot.
that seems so awesome, ive always wanted to design video games, so that they could make it just the way that i have always wanted, but if u think about it the designers probally do look around to see what people are saying and wanting from the game, because they want to make something that will sell good so we need to have a way to get our ideas to them such as emailing some of the things that we have said
1) They we not generating profit for Blizzard. They were just an office taking up resources and money. However, none of the employees were fired. Blizzard North is also who requested job's for an unannounced PC project. Then, out of nowhere, they were merged. Moved down to South. What is thought to of happened, is that they wanted to keep an eye on their project. What project? Again, for debate, but 75% sure that it is Diablo 3. Due to all the of hype, and denial of Blizzard to not even of considdering of making a D3. Of course they would atleast considder it. That leads people to think that it is Diablo 3 they were working on.
Now also they belive that Diablo 3 has been rewritten for an ORPG, instead of a RPG. So they wanted to have more employees work on it, and keep a closer eye on develpment to make it the best damn game they can.
2)....Well, there isn't really a 2. It just sounded stronger having a *1* there.
Got rice you play college ball??? WHat College and your picture in your id thing for diablo 3.com you dont look to fit to play college basketball, not tall either. Not trying to be mean
y do they want to keep it so under wraps? like y cant they announce that they are making it but just not release the details of what is in the game so that other competing companies wont copy their ideas
they should do what nfsu2 did, just let information slowly leak about their plans, enough to keep us interested, but not so much that people could still big things from them
because if they announced it now sure it would have tons of hype...But think about they way its all going down now...Rumors get released...we all sit aorund and talk about them..add our input and slowly but surely the hype builds and builds just like this site is doing everyday.
i do think that they look around and take our ideas, because they want to make a game that will have what we want, so that it will be fun and more fun = more money
they did have the game completed at one point, but they said that it was boring so they went back and are remaking it right now as we speak, one reason they did this is because it was boring like i said earlier, but another is probally because they saw all the ideas that people were comming up with and thought that it would be great to implement some of our ideas into their games

We should all take game design/game programming and just make that game ourselves!
